Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 19Great location and comfortable hotel
Had a great stay and recommends. The wireless internet however, was poor. Dropped out all the time and I spent a lot of time on the phone with the independent ISP trying to get online. Suggest you do internet elsewhere.

I trusted the brand having stayed at the Paramount's sister property in Portland. The hotel is a lot closer to things than the location map suggests (maps seem to make things seem more spread out). The good sized rooms had the most comfortable beds of my two week travels. The decor was subdued, not flashy, classy and contemporary, with earth tones, wood, stone, and displayed artifacts. Service was cordial and quick, though not too energetic to please, but not unfriendly.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 19Great Hotel
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for three days beginning 8/4/09. We thought the hotel was in a great location, between Pine and Pike, and very close to all the shops, bars, and about a thousand coffee places. We were able to walk from the hotel to Pike's Market comfortably. The employees at the hotel were all very friendly and provided very great tips on getting around the city, things to do, places to eat. The lobby was nothing to write home about, not ugly, but not fancy either. The rooms were very nice and very clean. The beds were very comfortable

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 19Nice place but request room away from back alley
Had a very nice stay. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable room. A very convenient location, especially for family activities like Seattle Center and Public Market. Only complaint was that we had a room that overlooked the alley and the garbage pickup early in the morning was very noisy. Would stay there again but would request a room overlooking the street.

I liked staying at this Hotel, it was very close to all the places we wanted to get to. The restaurants nearby were good. The staff was friendly. The room was a bit small, we booked the room for three people. Make sure you want double beds. The hotel was very nice. I would stay there again, but next time I'd request double beds.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 19Good Place To Stay And Pay
I think we got a good deal based on price we got from hotels.com and quality of hotel. Really nice hotel and rooms appeared to have been renovated recently. Good location. Staff were OK but not what I would call friendly. Expect to pay for everything and it is not cheap, i.e., valet parking, internet.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 19Very comfortable
Room was very comfortable, good size compare to the other hotels, clean and nicely renovated. Only thing that I could think of ... bed (matress) was definetly used A LOT, spring was tired and my back was hurting the next day. Other than that, location can't be any better, stuff were nice, everything was good. I would go back there (I might request a firmer bed, though!).

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 19Great Hotel, Great Location
We loved the free valet parking especially for the ease of parking in the city. The hotel was very clean and the decor was upscale. I would expect to pay more in a hotel of this stature. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I could not imagine a better place to stay in Seattle especially for the price and you can't beat the location, right in the middle of everything! This is my favorite place to stay in Seattle.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 19Not worth the money
The Paramount is clean, quiet, has a very comfortable bed, great decor, & has a perfect location in downtown Seattle. What it lacks is good customer service. The desk clerks were not that helpful or knowledgeable. Unclear whether a concierge was even available or if the desk was for the valet parking attendants. The hotel's parking was not clearly marked so we had to park elsewhere (and pay). We found out where to park in the hotel once we checked in. Had to ask for maid service. Low flow showers, wireless internet costs money, and no continental breakfast.
