Crystal Inn & Suites Atlantic City Absecon

Only so so

Was the smallest hotel on the block. More of a motel, no amenities. We went with friends that stayed in another room and we all had the same complaint. Beds are sooo hard, very uncomfortable. I feel the room was over priced. It was OK for just the one night, but I wouldn't stay there again.

Not bad for an Absecon Dump

One of the clear dumps I've stayed at along the pike. Bed was SUPER uncomfortable but overall was a clean place. Walls must be paper thin because I could hear the couple next door like I was in the room.

Great room for the money

Stayed over the 4th of July weekend, which was a bit higher price than usual, but still less than the casinos. I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and general shape of the room. Didn't use any of the amenities - just took a cab to and from the boardwalk. I'd stay again.

Always Satisfied

I frequent this hotel a lot as it is one of the newer. It's decent, reasonable and conveniently close to everything. The staff are usually helpful. The rooms are normally kept up though there were left over beer bottles and condoms in the trash my last stay but hey...atleast we know ppl are still using protection!

Friendliness of service was poor. room cleanliness was poor. utilities was good, I got two double beds when i asked for a king and no type of apology was offered. But i guess you get what you pay for. lol

Poor Customer Service

customer servie was very poor. I was charged extra for two people. Owner/Manager of the hotel start knocking my door while I was sleeping. Very disappointed.

Good place to stay near Atlantic City

Very clean and in good condition. Walls are a bit thin though, so hopefully you don't have neighbors who are up all night.

Fee for Pets

Great hotel! It was 3months old when I stayed. Never heard of this chain. In my search using Hotels.com, I was especially looking for a "Pets Allowed" hotel. The information about the hotel DID NOT SPECIFY an extra charge for pets. Unexpectedlly, I ended up paying so much extra for my cat, he could have had his own room!!! If I had known this I would not have stayed there. This undisclosed fee (and I did double check to see if a pet fee charge was listed and it wasn't) blew my budget, but I didn't want to disappoint my son and spoil the trip. I was nice about it though. But I feel somebody (Hotels.com or Crystal Inn) owes me something for this inconvience.

More than I expected

The exterior is very cute and well kept. The mployees at the desk were extremely nice and very helpful. Check in was fast and easy (I'm sure using Hotels.com helped). The room was nice and big, clean, and had a fridge and microwave. I loved the flat screen tv mounted on the wall. The drive to casinos and the AC boardwalk is just almost 15 minutes. Which we didn't mind at all. I will definitely stay here again. It is great for the money helped make our trip a pleasant one.
