Just fine - Nothing Special

Needed to book a room because we went to a wedding. It was very close to the Rams Head and the Garden State Parkway exit 40. It was pretty clean, cheap and decent. Nothing is wrong with the place except for the initial excessive soap smell when you first open the door. The new renovations were just fine. If you're in need and in that area, this hotel choice is not that bad for one night.

Walls thin, But ok

My daughter lrft her Beach towel in the room and after checkout I called the same day to retreave this item and they said they do not have itm and the counter person said they most likely threw it out. I did love the cleanliness of the bathroom and the great shower. The walls are really thin and I could hear the people above me having sex. Which did not sit well since I had two teenagers with me. Be aware you have to ask the front desk for soap and shampoo. I guess I got what I paid for.

Good room for the money

Room was clean, no shampoo or conditioner but no big deal. Nice TV, comfortable bed, clean shower and looks new from the outside. No real continential breakfast but plenty of fast food in area.

Good bargain

Other than the noise from the room next to my room, you can hear conversations!!!, the rest was great.

poor management

needs some organizing with how service done. I had to go to office to get my own supplies when they should of been in the room before we got there. For example t.paper & no clean towels. I came back to my room at 5.00P.M. and the room was not cleaned.

Good for the $$

A bit noisy in the morning as it's right on the hwy. Door lock was flimsy, internet good.

LACK OF COMMUNICATION

It is very hard do transactions with people who do not speak English, They tried to get me to pay CASH for my pet...I do not pay cash because it is not always claimed and pocketed... almost 50.00 for a 9 lb dog.. the price was 30.00, then 39.00 finally 43.95 including tax... I paid with a credit card... and they bothered me 3 times over this... the owner told me to pay when I was leaving.. I was approached at 12:00at night, at 8:00 in the morning and again when I went for coffee and stale donuts.....

Won't go there again

The Crystal Inn's rooms were very nice and clean. Unfortunately the walls are very thin and there were very unsavory people in the next room. The people were up all night with what sounded like criminal discussions. I left early the second night when I saw that they were still there. I will never return.

Paper Thin Walls and Dogs

Walls were paper thin. We could hear quiet conversations in the adjoining room on one side and the other had a small unattended dog that was continuesly barking. Contacted Mgmt and they couldn't do anyhting about it. Even when the people returned the dog still barked during the night. Other than that not bad.

Good Hotel for the Price

This is not a 5 star hotel, but for the prcie it was great. The room was clean and comfortable, nothing too fancy but not too dated. I arrived late and noted a well lit parking lot and felt safe in the area. The only problems I had were the walls were very thin and the next door neighbor's argument, and subsequent make-up session, were a bit much. Fortunately, neither lasted very long. In my 3 night stay I never made breakfast, although I went to the office during the posted times, there never seemd to be anyone around to let me in for coffee (and no coffee maker in room). For the dough, this is a great bargain.

Perfect for AC Casino Trip

I come to AC to play. All I need is a clean, comfortable room to crash in for a few hours at night, and this place is it. Much nicer then the cheaper places in AC, and only a 10 minute drive to the casinos.

It was very nice

loved the cleaness and the jacuzzi was fabolous
