Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 181Great Room
We booked a King room and it was spacious and comfortable and had a very nice flow to the space. It was not your traditional box shaped room with narrow spaces. I would stay there again.

great location, lots of things in short walking distance, not to mention the subway is literally right outside the door. the rooms are nice, well kept, and classy but not over the top. the price is well worth the stay

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 181Best location for the price
If you are traveling to Boston, looking for a place close to the sites, and want the best price, choose this hotel. There is a T stop in front of the door, Fanneul Hall (restaurants and shopping) is across the street, and the Freedom Trail is 3 blocks away. We couldn't have been more happy with this place. The rooms were small and the bathrooms were not updated, but they were charming with exposed brick and a very historic feel. I am 7 months pregnant and was worried about choosing the right/easiest location...this is it. There is no continental breakfast, but there are restaurants and convenience breakfast places (Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, etc.) within blocks.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 181Economy hotel at non-economy Price
There was no valet and cause of my bad back my 100 pound girl had to take all the luggage up to our room. The room was very nice but there were no extra amenities and no frills, not even pen and pads. You get more frills at a Super 8. The location was great and that is the biggest plus. For 40 more, stay at Millenium where everything was perfect.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 181Nice but room for improvement
Clean room, soft towels, nice selection of soaps, great tv/DVD/radio, wonderful hot water Need to work on the rooms being to hot with no way to cool off, very tiny rooms, and cockroach control.

Excellent location. Don't take the Trolley, everything is within walking distance of this hotel. I waste my money and time by taking the trolley tour.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 181Good Experience
Hotel was clean. The room was a tad small, but very comfortable. Was right in the heart of all the action, and reasonably priced. The complimentary coffee, and especially free internet service, was clutch. I was able to manage my ridiculous fantasy baseball team to the championship game as a result. Good work!

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 181Excellent location for the price
The staff was very nice, it's an old hotel, but room was very clean with a nice flat screen tv, dvd player, and a Boston guide available for us to use. The only problem with the room was some building settling which left a big gap at the door, we just informed them when we checked out. Overall recommended.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 181If you are claustrophobic or If you are claustrophobic or handicapppped stay away !!!!!
Great location around the corner from Faneuil Square. If you need parking, don't be misled, it's 5 blocks away. I am handicapped and it proved to be very inconvenient. the lot had plenty of parking spaces, but the Valet workers used the handicapped spots for their good customers not handicapped people. I spent an hour trying to find a spot. No help from the garage. After Returning to the hotel I expressed my concern to the desk clerk and manager. Who seemed like high school or college kids that did not understand customer satisfaction or empathy for the handicapped. They very defensive as if they were responding to their parents instead of paying customers. I got the impression that their reply was, if you don't like it "to bad". I tried to explain this to the morning crew with the same reply. Never again, for me! I would spend the extra money elsewhere. Oh yes, the hotel is well hidden and looks like an entrance to a store front. Renovated but you will not see sun light as every window faces a brick wall. Like a prison. Do yourself a favor and make this your last choice!

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 181Convenient location
Hotel was clean and pleasant, but not memorable. Staff were helpful. Our room overlooked the atrium, so it was quiet although somewhat dark. But overall this was a plus. We enjoyed our visit to Boston, and the hotel's proximity to a subway station was a great advantage.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 181More than I expected
I was somewhat cautious at first but once we got to the hotel that feeling left me. It is at an excellent location for shopping and dinning. The room was more than I expected. Great furnishing and ultra clean. We would definitely stay there again.
