Lobby was a little shabby, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location couldn't have been any better! Just a few yards from the most notable historical sites. Staff were friendly and helpful. If you want to see the historical sites easily and efficiency, and you aren't overly picky, this is a great place.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 252"Great room for the money"
We had just returned from Europe so were spoiled by the clean hotels. Harborside Inn offered a very not only smart looking room but very clean. We will return for sure. Super location, couldn't be better for walking to sights.

Good location. Lots to see around the hotel. Nicely updated comptemporary room. Only two complaints: (1) Parking for hotel was 2 blocks away and (2) front desk staff was less than friendly

Unique design but smaller rooms than I am use to. The technology was more extensive than other hotels. The most distictive feature is its location in the historic district.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 252Great Location and Good Service
We loved the location of the hotel since we could walk to many sights and places. It is near the North End which is very interesting with lots of Italian restaurants. The room was rather small and the closet space was limited but the shower was great! It was very quiet and we enjoyed this feature every night. The staff was very helpful and they have five computers with a printer for the guests to use in the lobby. We would stay here again.

Marvelous location. Close to the historic site. Many great restaurants close. Shopping close if desired. Hotel was clean, well maintained. Only negative was lack of window with outside view.

No wireless, PAY for wired, pay 6$+ for phonecalls, bad location, rundown looking halls, on and on.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 252Awesome Hotel in a great location
We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is in a great location, perfect for taking in all the sites of Boston. We are glad we didn't stay in the Back Bay area, this location is much more convenient and close to the harbor, Quincy Market, the freedom trail and the Italian north end. The subway station is right outside their front door. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We appreciate their excellent dinner recommendations. The room was very nice and quiet. I would definitely recommend this hotel and visiting this beautiful city. Fantastic!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 252Good Deal for a Downtown location
The rooms are a little small, but its location makes up for it. The Blue Line T Aquarium stop is right in front of the hotel, and the State T stop is a couple of blocks away. The hotel is within a 15-20 minute stroll to the North End and is near a good portion of the Freedom Trail. The area around the hotel is in a location that is fairly safe to walk around in the evening (beggers do exist in Boston as well as any large city). The bathroom in the room seems slightly outdated when you compare it to the rest of the room (small, old tiling and fixtures).
