Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 19Very inexpensive place with ride into NYC for $6 round trip $12
"Great room for the money"

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 19In the middle of nowhere but close to NYC
The hotel was located on one side of a divided street and you had to go past and u-turn to get back to it. For people who don't like to walk up a large hill it could be inconvenient. Continental breakfast was nothing special but it got the job done. The room was very big but the carpet was a little on the dirty side. It was VERY close to the Lincoln Tunnel and very fast to get into NYC, and you can't beat the low price to stay there. There was an excellent little restaurant next door called La Fusta with some of the best meals I've ever had at reasonable prices. Great deal if you're not too picky.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 19Good room for the money
This hotel is very humble. What made it appealing to me was that it was available when all others were booked in Manhattan during a very busy time, the end of the U.S. Open and the beginning of Fashion Week. Hotel located just 15 minutes across the bridge in Jersey with OK shuttle service, departures & returns. The one major dissapointment was the air-conditioning smelled moldy. If that was corrected the hotel would have received a 4 out 5. A little Italian restaurant near by but other than that you are better off eating in Manhattan or ordering a pizza. Not a neighborhood to exploring. Would recommend if you need to be in Manhattan for a budget but do not want to stay in a hostel.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 19Needs Improvement
My room was right near the storage closet, which was always open and looked really dingy. To think that all our laundry was coming from there made me really nauseated. The room was okay but I did suspect that the sheets weren't being cleaned everyday. The hall ways and corridors were also not very clean and could have been maintained much better.

Stayed there two different times. First time was OK. The second time the room smelled a little funny but I was too tired to change rooms. Price was right.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 19Nothing wrong here
All the things I read about this hotel in other posts - I was a bit leery. But upon arrival I was quite plesantly surprised. I travel for work and spend 50+ days a year in hotels - this one was just fine, especially for the price and proximity to NYC.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 19My four day stay
the hotel room was clean and pretty cozy , we did not get to experience the room dureing the daytime much but the only thing that was a problem was at night we had to keep regulating the heating unit because the room door was not sealed good but everything else was fine and i would recomend this hotel to others.

The property is well maintained and the staff is friendly and very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was better than others I have seen.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 19it's a cheap hotel in New Jersey... don't expect the Ritz!
I've stayed here before when I need a cheap place to stay near New York City. It was 12 degrees outside one evening and the door was not completely sealed, so I had to stuff the jams with towels and blankets so I wouldn't freeze. If you get a room with more than one bed, you'll have an entrance through an inside cooridor. But single beds, you're out of luck. If you need a cheap room and don't care that it's not fancy, this place will be fine. The room is clean, the bed is ok, and I have heat. I was happy. It did the trick. If I wanted quality, service and a really comforting room I'd spend the money in the city.
