Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 9PARKING PROBLEMS
The historical tour is great and recommended. Rob, the certified historian, is delightful. The breakfast, even for the Biltmore, was completely overpriced. Good, but overpriced. The major problem, was the parking. We had to park almost 1/4 mile from our room. And it cost $12. I felt the horrible parking combined with the astronomical $12 was adding insult to injury. Completely unacceptable.

Like staying in a museum. Very elegant old school place. Like stepping back in time. Rooms are enormous.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 9Arizona Biltmore
Whenever I go to Arizona there are a few choice hotels that I enjoy - the Princess, Phoenician, Mondrian, Ft. McDowell if I want to be way out in Scottsdale, and the Arizona Biltmore. This is my third stay at the Biltmore and the grounds are so well kept, the food is superb, especially in-room service, and the spa facial is my favorite. Although, the spa area itself needs to be updated. I would give it a 4.5 to a 5 star for sure!!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 9Biltmore Disappoints
There are many great resorts in the Phoenix area; however, the Arizona Biltmore does not fall into that category. For a 4-5 star hotel, the room was not clean, particularly the bathroom (I'll let you imagine a bad scene), the carpet in the bedroom was covered in peanuts and leaves and a couple of other things. I called the front desk to report the issue and they assured me that the room would be "refreshed" by the time we returned from dinner. That did not happen. They did offer to move us to a room down the room, but at 10:00 at night, who feels like that and what was the guarantee that room would be better? The extra resort charge and self parking charge are ridiculous. The pool was a disaster. There were dirty dishes everywhere and no staff that would wait on you. I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing or fun weekend in Phoenix. Look elsewhere. I have stayed at the Biltmore many times over the years and I will not be coming back.

a friendly staff, but the king size bed was more a queen. One morning the hot water was brown and lukewarm. Somewhat a disappointment for the price.

Relaxing atmosphere, beautiful grounds. Room was lovely with spectacular bedding. Service in the Wright Lounge was marginal for this level of hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 9A Desert Jewel!
A true jewel in the desert. While not a small place, the Arizona Biltmore is a resort hotel that puts beauty on a very human scale and embodies a true understanding of the difference between genuine sophisticated luxury and over-the-top extravagance. It is a feast for all the senses: fabulous architecture and splendid natural vistas, augmented by lovely sounds of running water and, during our recent visit in mid-March, the intoxicating fragrance of citrus trees in bloom. Food and amenities are excellent. The sense of history in this place adds a special feel to the experience. Add to this, helpful, friendly and accommodating staff and we would be hard pressed to stay anywhere else in the Phoenix area.
