Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 10Great room for the money
The hotel was a very beautiful property, but the parking is very inconvenient and it is a long walk to a lot of the rooms. Also, the hotel tacked on a lot of extra charges. Charges were removed when disputed, but it is important to go over the bill and credit card bill.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 10good experience in an iconic property
Appreciated that the person checking me in suggested, upon hearing that I have an interest in Frank Lloyd Wright, that I choose a room in the original main building. In spite of the fact that I'd stayed at the Biltmore often in the past, I'd never stayed in that location. I was pleased.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 10In need of major renovations...
Having stayed here before, my expecatations were that this 5* hotel would live up to my prior experience. This was not the case, from my very overcharged bill to the rooms that are rundown and in need of renovation to the pools that have numerous cracked and misisng tiles - I wouldn't stay here again until they invest some money into making this a true 5* resort. The grounds are kept very beautiful and are worthy of a visit, but not a stay.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 10Very nice hotel but service was a bit off
The Biltomore is a very nice hotel with beautiful gardens and very comfortable rooms. The rooms/batahroom are spacious and exactly what I would have expected from a hotel with a high rating. The only thing I did not like about the hotel was the service. Their main focus is serving the business/convention guests with little attention paid to those who are there to vacation. There are many pools but service was only available at the main pool. We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights and had to constantly call for more towels as housekeeping would only leave us three towels for four people. At the pool they would leave 8 towels for 40 people. We found this odd but dealt with it. My overall impression is that while the hotel itself is very nice they lack attention to detail. Resort fees are high, but that is because tourists are paying for everything new in Arizona - like their stadium. I was surprised that we had to pay for parking at the hotel but overall is was a good deal.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 10Awesome deal
Overall it was a wonderful experience - nice rooms, salt-water pools (8), programs for kids (loved the smores!), and wonderful grounds. The staff were great! Things to be mindful of - extra $$ for parking, valet, some kid programs, and pool items.

Worth staying here just to see the powerful design. Walk around and check out the details.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 10A very nice large property
Great for families. Lots of games, s'mores by the fire at night. Dogs allowed. Great pools. Beautiful grounds with a Frank Lloyd Wright architecture.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 10Complete Rip-off
Everything at this hotel is a rip-off at half the price. Our room was not cooled effectively by the air conditioning (109 in Phoenix on one day). If you are stuck at this hotel, then you need to get refreshments elsewhere. Drinks are more expensive than in Manhattan.
