Very nice hotel. Big, clean rooms. However, since there is no commercial district within walking distance, they gouge their guests at every opportunity. First morning, bagel and coffee cost me $10.50! Last meal I ate there. It's a shame, because it is a lovely hotel. Too bad they soak their guests unnecessarily.

Affordable Luxury

My upgraded resort room was lovely and footsteps away from the Catalina Pool. I took full advantage of the $28 resort fee by swimming laps and following the tiled designs on the pool bottom to the fountain at the shallow end. The rooms are nicely appointed and furnished.

Excellent hotel

But to be considered a trul luxury location they will need to face up to a major expenditure to upgrade the bathrooms and bedroom furniture.

Customer Service Should Matter More

My son was to report for duty for deployment to Iraq the following day @ so we requested a wake up call @ 5:30 AM and odered him room service @ 6:00 AM so that he could have a nice breakfast before leaving but we were awakened by the arrival of the breakfast which was ice cold and not eatable & the reason given was the distance from the kitchen to our room. After taking my son to armory. I recieved reciept for $65.00 for a late night cabana purchase that someone had charged to my room# I then recieved a wake up call @ 7:30 AM I eventually did get an apology from the opertor on the phone and the $65.00 taken off of my bill but my reason for staying at a nicer hotel on my son's last day with his family was lost.

Needs Improvement

This hotel is old and tired Scottsdale has many other better options. I paid extra for a 500-600sf room and was first put in a room about 300sf. I was moved after a phone call.

Online Pricing is Misleading

The online price looks good but resort fee and parking fee almost double all-in price.

Beautiful Hotel

Loved the hotel and pool. My son loved the waterslide and the staff was very friendly. The grounds are large so be prepared for a lot of walking.

Simply the best old school hotel in Phoenix

You simply cannot surpass the grandeur of the old guard at the Biltmore. Lovely hotel.

This is a wonderful old hotel...but it is not convenient for a business traveller unless your meetings are at the hotel.

Excellent hotel but there is hidden resort charge

It is vey good hotel for the price I paid through hotel?com. But theycharge extra $28plus tax and that piss me off.We need to know in advance
