Dirty towels!!

All the towels had hair and lint stuck to them, i repeatedly exchanged for clean towels and each one they provided had hair stuck to them. The shower also had hair in it. The chairs had gum stuck to the seats.

Review

This hotel greatly exceeded my expectations. The room that we stayed in was clean and the hotel staff was professional and had an easy check-in. The room that we stayed in had good internet connection at 100%. The only downfall is that toward the end of my trip all of the lights went out in the room and we had to switch to another room and the internet connection was lower. Otherwise a good place to stay if you're looking for something cheap and close to Atlantic City. I would definitely recommend.

Not too impressed

The beds were not comfortable, the bathroom door had dents and the wood was peeling off. Behind the sink there was a big piece of duct tape. The water took a little while to warm up or cool down, once it was set it was nice, but it took a little while. I was however impressed that they had free internet. I guess if you just need a place to sleep it's okay, but not if you want to hang out and rest.

You pretty much get exactly what you pay for. Not the best, but certainly not horrible.

Decent for a cheap place to stay

The hotel was alright for a cheap place to stay on the weekends. It was a bit further away then expected from our destination.

"Horrible Experience"

the travelodge on white horse pike in Absecon, NJ: -there was no parking, we had to drive around and then come back to find a parking spot!!! -the toilet did not flush all the way you have 2 flush it twice to actually work and then wait 10 minutes for the next person to use it!!! -the volume on our t.v did not work....NOT COOL!! (but we did get $10 from the manager when we left) -in the middle of the night the room started to smell like mold and we couldnt sleep...i complained and the manager said "well i have never heard that complaint before, what do you want me to do?" then he sent me back to my room with a can of air freshener..THAT DIDNT WORK!!! -the complimentary breakfast consisted of packaged muffins and coffee in the check in office...you just grab it and go...sorry but thats not a breakfast!!! i will never go back to the travelodge as long as i live!! -what a horrible experience I will never go back to a travelodge as long as i live!!

Fun Trip

Friendly staff, good location, only short drive to the beach.

What do you expect for 1.5 stars...

The paint was chipping and floor looked as if it needed a vacuum, but housekeeping did come in and clean and gave us extra towels... It's pretty much what I expected, mediocre at best and suitable strictly for sleeping purposes... HOWEVER, I checked in around 2a.m., because of where I was traveling from- and when I called the front desk- nobody answered for close to an hour, because it was a cell phone- it eventually kept dropping the call. I called Hotels.com and they had to call and let the phone ring until he apparently woke the attendant up from sleeping- at which point he could answer our questions.
