Value Hotel

Reserved and paid for King bed 6 months before arrival. Upon arrival, received double bed room. Returned to front desk and asked for king bed. I was advised that corporate office assigned rooms. Front desk could not accomodate my king bed as designated on my Hotels.com reservation. I telephoned Hotels.com to complain and was advised that the hotel assigns rooms regardless of what was reserved at Hotels.com. The double bed had a single size mattress pad and sheets so warn that the stripes on the mattress could be seen through the sheet. Comments by others about the Hawaiian Monarch are generally accurate.

Hotels are fine but need improvement: (1)no free breakfast (2)breakfast is too simple (3)no free parking lot (4)room equippment is too old(such as air conditioning)

Small space

The rooms are very small, The refrigerator did not even hold drinks, Great view though.
