Truly a superlative property...great service, comfortable and stylish rooms...free breakfast and parking...only negative is location...nice area but nothing much of interest within walking distance...countered by fact half block from T station...enthusiastically recommend

Hotel with character

If you're looking for something out of the ordinary this is the place. It combines the latest technology and awesome antique type furnishings. I stayed with a group of girls for a weekend and we all loved the hotel. And we all slept great too. The beds are wicked comfy.

great room for the money and located two minutes from the "T"

staff was friendly and helpful. we where just two minute walk to the T red line. the complimentary full breakfast was great.the red line took us directly to park street stop in boston commons, no traffic or parking problems to worry about. and getting to the hotel and leaving the area was thousand times better than trying to drive into the city of boston.

great atmosphere

love the americana decor of this hotel. desk help was fantastic as well as room cleanliness and comfort. only wish is ice bin on each floor not just on first.

Beautiful for a weekend getaway

Called hotel prior to arrival. Needed a place to park our car for our day trip into Boston and was to arrive way prior to check in. They were so great, they allowed us to park in the basement parking garage for the day, while we saw the sights. When we checked into the room, we were very pleased with the room, was so fun and cheerful. The breakfast buffet, is the best I have ever had that is included in the price of the room. Yummy!

Nice and cozy

The Kendall Hotel is really cozy and beautiful, with antiques all over the place arranged with very good taste. The rooms were clean and cozy too and the location (and parking) very convenient. The only negative comment I have to make is that the staff in charge of breakfast were not the friendliest of people...

Very cute, clean rooms

Room was small, but very cute and very clean. Location is not bad - very close to the subway, but immediate surrounding area has little to see or do.

A Real Gem!

What a great find this hotel is! It has the ambiance of an old inn decorated tastefully and keeping a style of comfort. The fire memorabilia scattered throughout the inn is very interesting. We stayed in the original firehouse and the room was immaculate, quiet on the week-end and very comfortable. Each room is uniquely decorated. The breakfast served in the restaurant and included with the room charge was great. Parking was also included in an underground garage and very convenient. The T is a short walk away; we didn't use our car at all. We will definitely stay here again on future visits to Boston!

Great Bargain, Lovely hotel

The hotel was very lovely! It's gives a small B & B feeling more than anything. The colonial decor was a great touch. The complimentary breakfast was delicious (eggs, bacon, pancakes, fresh fruits, muffins, coffee, juice). This is a perfect hotel for families or those looking for a comfortable, quite, non-fussy stay. I highly recommend it and would stay here again everytime I go to boston. THe location is in between harvard and downtown boston, so it's just a convenient metro ride away. It's also right across from the metro station as well, you couldn't ask for a better location.
