Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 33We will DEFINITELY stay here next time.
Great location. Hotel staff extremely helpful. Just a block from Waikiki Beach. The hotel street is right on the major bus line to access area attractions. In walking distance of shops. The lobby restaurant is kind of pricey, but it does not matter because hotel is only 2-3 blocks from places to eat and a grocery store. **We stayed at this hotel in the past when it was under the management of Radisson. Under Hilton, the rooms are more modern. The decor is really nice. Has a mini-refrigerator and balcony. Our bed was comfortable with no bed bugs. Plenty of space in the bathroom to spread out the toiletries. The bathroom only had a shower but it was really nice and spacious (and I do not take baths at hotels anyway) **Great pool.**Loved the business office. It really helped us to get last-minute info on area attractions when needed. It was clean, had enough PCs (all working), printers, pens, paper clips, note paper, stapler, and even legal-sized paper. **For all these pluses, we think it is well worth the price we paid at hotels.com. Parking fee per night was expensive at $25 per night, but it appears that it is expensive at most of the Waikiki hotels.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 33Fabulous Stay
Our stay at the Prince Kuhio exceeded our expectations in every way. Perfect location in a quiet area,a five minute walk to the beach. Shopping, restaurants and entertainment within easy walking distance. "The Bus" stop just steps from the hotel for transportation, convenient to everything. The rooms were clean and modern and the beds were fantastic. We considered staying in the room for the entire vacation! Seriously, the bed was wonderful, the most comfortable we have experienced during our travels. The hotel staff was great, especially Ali, the Assistant Front Office Manager. He answered all our questions and was extremely outgoing and friendly as were all the hotel employees. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay and we look forward to visiting again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 33It's what a Hilton is supposed to be.....
My wife and I spent a week in the Hilton Prince Kuhio. With the intent of being the Executive version of the Hilton in Waikiki (if you have kids go to the Hilton Hawaiian Village down the road), the Hilton Prince Kuhio delivers in fashion. Great room (bed was awesome, large TV), great ocean view, great service, and compared to other "namebrand" hotels in the area, great value. It was our 1st visit to Hawaii. We booked a Deluxe ocean view room. We were given a room on the 32nd floor, on the corner of the hotel (diamond head side) and it completely met our demands for what a deluxe ocean view is supposed to be. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach for you to walk out in your bathing suit and towel, bars with live music at night (Hawaiian, Jazz, Rock, take your pick), convenience stores (the ABC stores are everywhere though), and very important for me at least, a Starbucks around the corner. It's also a 5 min walk to reach Kalakua ave and its EXCEPTIONAL shopping and nightlife strip. If you mind not staying on the beach itself, this hotel will exceed your needs. Only "issue" I will mention is some (not all) of the front desk staff think too much of themselves as Hilton employees. However, they WILL get the job done. No complaints.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 33Great place to stay
We greatly enjoyed our stay here. The room was big, large bathroom, everything seemed to be brand new and we were very well taken care of by the hotel staff. Although not on the beach, we figured out that was a benefit because it was quieter at night than over by the beach. Besides, it was a very short walk to the beach.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 33Great Hotel
It was a great hotel! The pool was nice and the court yard was beautiful. The room service was a little bit slow but the food was great. The bed was very comfortable and had plenty of pillows. The balcony offered a great view of the mountain and the city. An ocean view is available but it does cost a little bit extra. All in all, this hotel is an amazing stay for the price!

Great hotel and customer service. Parking rates are high, but that seems to be the going rate for the high end hotels. Continental breakfast was good.

The hotel more than exceded my ex[ectations especislly for the low price!!! It was centrally located 2 blocks from beach. It was newly remodelled and felt like no one stayed there.
