Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 1 of 41well not too bad and not too good!!!1
Ive stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. id say 85% of the staffs are really friendly and 15% not friendly at ALL!!!!!!!. I talked to different services and ive meet some very nice people but there is that lady who work as a concierge on the morning ( i read bad reviews and notice) and shes not friendly at all. Room Serivce is ok. They screw my order 1ce but the romm service personn was very very nice and friendly so it was easy to forgive him. The rooms have a lot of space to move around with a great view. The executive lounge is really kewl too but again, one of the staff isnt friendly at all. So i really suggest to read ALL comments on this hotel. Tx for reading

Trip Type: Special Event Review 2 of 41Not child friendly
The restaurant in the hotel was great. The food was good and the service was excellent. The hotel service should have been better. The room only had the option of a king or 2 doubles. A family of three with a child would have a slight problem with this. At first the hotel told me they do not offer any other type of bed or sleeping service to accommodate 3 people in a room. When my husband called back 2 days later they told him he could have a double bed in the room for an additional cost of $70. There was a daily charge for Internet usage. There was no self-park, only valet. The location of the hotel makes parking on the street not an option. The daily parking rate was $25. The pool was small, and only went as deep as 5 feet. The fitness center was small, and crowded. They only had a small free weight area, and a few cardio machines. A couple of the cardio machines did work properly, and all the machines were almost taken. On Friday and Saturday night they have Chippendale Dancers doing a show at the hotel. A lot of excited young women show up for the shows, starting at 5 and going to 12pm. This was not a very comfortable setting with an impressionable young child.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 3 of 41Convenient location, Nice place to stay
The room was very clean, we had a wonderful view of the beach and the hotel was very conveniently located a block off the main Waikiki drag. The only negative is that the concierge was unwilling to help us find a restaurant for dinner. She would only reccomend restaurants in hotels and when we indicated that we didn't want a tourist trap type of restaurant, she refused to help us. If you don't care what you eat, that's fine. If you're a foodie, you'll need to research restaurants before you go, hopefully from people with actual experience.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 4 of 41Great Hotel
We had a lovely ocean view room on a top floor. The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. Our only complaint was that the concierge was extremely unhelpful. We asked for recommendations for restaurants and she refused to suggest anything other than what was in the hotel. We asked about timing and transportation to the airport and she told us she couldn't help us.

I would like to say this hotel's location is perfect, but view is not that great. Also, price is a little bit over charged.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 41GREAT LOCATION, NICE VIEW, NICE PEOPLE
The hotel is very nice, clean, great view, helpful checkin person put us on a higher floor with water view, concierge found a box for us so we could mail things home. The hotel is located only a block away from the beach, and close to all the Waikiki shopping and eating places. The public bus stop was just a few yards away or across the street on the return. We took the bus a lot, around Oahu to Turtle Bay Resort and Polynesian Cultural Center, Ala Moana Center Mall, and even back to the airport for one low flat fee every time we got on. They also give you transfers good for 2 for 3 hours, so the return trips were often free.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 12 of 41Good business hotel.
More of a business hotel than vacation hotel. Fine for short stay but would not want to spend whole vacation at this hotel, based on the ambiance and location. Rooms were well appointed but rather small. Location is one street back from the front at the far end of Waikiki beach. Good points were that it was very quiet, service was good, the restaurant is open 24 hours and we enjoyed the food.

Overall the hotel is very good. The staff is very friendly and do a very good job. The gym is not very good, only two treadmills, two ellipticals that are just junk, two stationary bikes. It doesn't seem like to matach such a nice hotel. Hope they build a nice good gym, so people that stay longer time have a good place to work out. The hot tubs are not good either, and need to re-do the tubs. Other than that, that hotel is very good in other parts.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 15 of 41Nice, but a bit small.
This hotel is in a great location near all that you need. The service was good. I did find that the rooms were very small for 2 people. We had the ocean view room but it was quite small. Even with the balcony, we had the door open most of the time. Be careful of the parking situation around the neighborhood. We parked on Ala Wai overnight and had our car towed on the day we left. The tow company will return your car for $160 cash no receipt and you still have to pay the $50 ticket. Pay for the hotel parking at $25 a day is my tip.
