Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 72If you can't stand the Noise you don't belong there.
We received a very possitive greating from the staff as we arrived late in the evening after a grueling Amtrac Adventure. We were given the "Warm Cookie" and escorted to our First Floor bedroom with couch setup. The ceilings were very high with crown molding. Luxurius drapes and a bed you never want to get out of. The bath had everything you could want. Makeup mirror with light included. It was what we had hoped for and expected including the noise outside. The underground bus express was just outside the hotel lobby and worked out great for getting around. We feel we got the 5 star hotel for a 2 star price. Book online early to get the best prices.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 3 of 72This can't be our room
In our 35 years of traveling around the globe , this was our favorite place to stay at, and were very disappointed that the time there was so short. We would go back to Seattle, just to stay at this hotel. It was not only very clean, but so exciting to enjoy the decore. We had just ended a 10 day Alaska cruise, so we could appreciate the pictures and furnishings even more. Our adult son traveled with us and we were all very comfy in the room. The snacks were wonderful, and especially enjoyed the wine. The desk staff are very friendly and helpfull. Can't wait to try another room there!!!!!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 5 of 72Hotel with a historic past
The exterior and interior of the hotel represented the history of the area as well as how the goldminers made it big in Alaska. Beautifully appointed room, large bathrooms. The Juno Restaurant on the street level was very good. Pike's Market around a 10 minute walk.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 7 of 72Great for the Money
We were so pleasantly surprised at the ambience of this hotel. It had been renovated in 2008 and it is truly unique in its design. Althought a bit dark, it was built in the 20's! The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was within the free Metro Transit system, and we took advantage of the bus service to the Airport located across the street at the Pioneer Square station. One way to the Airport was $1.75 (50 cents for seniors). We were very satisfied with our selection of the Doubltetree Artic Club. Would highly recommend.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 10 of 72Great Place to Stay
My wife and I loved staying at this hotel. It is in a great location close to transit, Pike Place Market and Pioneer Square. I have stayed in other DoubleTree hotels and this one felt much more like an independent hotel in decor, comfort and service. We will definitely stay here the next time we spend the night in Seattle.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 72Charming hotel
Despite being a "Doubletree" hotel, which I tend to think of as being a big national chain with all the hotels looking pretty much the the same, the Arctic Club felt much more like a boutique hotel. The rooms were very comfortable with a charming look and feel. The lobby/bar was a nice, quite, open space to enjoy some absinth tasting with friends. The entire staff was very friendly.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 12 of 72Loved it!
I loved this hotel! Location is convenient to the train station and the Pioneer Square neighborhood. My room was small, but that's not an issue for me, and the bathroom had only a shower--no tub--but I knew this "going in" so it was also not an issue. I loved the room decor in keeping with the "explorer" theme. Bed was very comfortable. Internet access in the business center was free! I would gladly stay here again.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 13 of 72unbelievable hotel
What an amazing surprise!! This hotel was a beautiful modernized edition of an early 1900's gentlemens club. Great history and so amazingly beautiful. The service was impecable and the room was beyond any hotel room. We were greeted with valet parking, an surprising upgrade (free to us that is) a warm cookie.... come on what else can we say. JUST STAY HERE!!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 15 of 72Very nice hotel
I stayed here two weeks prior and had gotten a larger room with a very nice sitting area. This time, it was a smaller room, but still very nicely detailed. The furniture was a mixture of a mission style and contemporary and retro pieces. Nice warm colors. Coffee in room with a French press... the bathroom was very nice with Neutrogena soaps and shampoos... the beds very comfortable and plush. The desk staff were very nice and accommodating. (They gave us extra cookies when we asked.) The lobby is nicely renovated in art deco style... a little dark, but that is also part of the charm. It has a "club" feel. I ate at the bar one night and the food was very good. However, I think the waitress forgot to put our order in, as she looked a bit embarrassed when I asked after about 30 minutes later when the food would be served. The place has a pretty relaxed feel and I would definitely go back. We recommended this hotel to two of our friends and they stayed for three days, and enjoyed it.
