Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 51Great room for the money
I was traveling to Seattle for a conference and room rates were well over $200 all around downtown. I found the Doubletree Arctic and booked a room for my two night stay. While I wasn't right near the location of my conference I loved the property. The historic feel of the hotel made my stay feel special. The surrounding area is ideal for a nice walking tour of downtown Seattle.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 51Good hotel; old-style feel
The hotel was very nice. It was of very good quality and clean, and the service was excellent. It is in an historic building, and thus has an old-style feel. The only minor inconvenience was that the immediate neighborhood did not have any dinner options (it is a business district that gets quiet at night) and the nearest neighborhood that did was not such a great or safe area. In truth, though, it would not be a long walk to get to a better neighborhood uptown with more dinner option - I was just very tired after a long day of business.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 51Awesome
This hotel is great, especially for those wanting to enjoy a little historic feel. The rooms were small, but super nice and the bed was absolutely wonderful. The location was in the center of town close to the market or pioneer square as well as the ferries. Staff was great and even opened up the pool table after hours for us!

Nostalgic decor, very clean rooms, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Overall, a highly recommended hotel for your stay in Seattle.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 51A great place to stay
The Arctic Club Hotel far exceeded my expectations as far as price and comfort. It has all the grandness of a large old fashioned hotel but a feeling of being in a much smaller hotel. It also has great attention to detail in design and theme.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 51Pleasantly suprised
It was a great historic hotel. I was impressed by the professional staff, monogrammed bathrobs, clean room, furniture and flat screen tv. The only minus was that the HVAC system was kind of loud, but it didn't matter because I'm a heavy sleeper.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 51cool hotel
Place is a "guys hotel". It is old and a former men's club. You can tell you are in an old world, but very cool. Top notch if you are into large beams and leather.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 51Outstandy stay, exceeded all expectations
Artic Club is more of an old fashion, low key hotel. Please don't mistake that for being old or out of date. Every time that I came back, the atmosphere was very relaxing. Had a very cool 1920's feel. - Great customer service. Front desk was very helpful with all of my questions concerning Seattle and local places for dinner, coffee, etc. - Loved the outall hotel, a lot of personality and unique factors. - This was my first hotel stay in a long time where I actually left wanting to come back again and would recommend to my family.

Ok rate, but not 4-Star quality. Evening Valet not present on arrival. Locked out of Hotel, then room by non-functioning keycard. Porter no-show on departure. Limited meal service and no room service. But, Bar Tender and Day Valet fantastic.

Very nice hotel. Liked that it wasn't a chain type environment. Convenient to underground bus service. Minutes to shopping, tourist attractions. Some minor issues with room fixtures but overall enjoyable. Nice relaxing bar!!!
