great vacation

We found this hotel on hotel.com and were extremely pleased with it. It is not fancy with la ti da amenities but the rooms are very clean and large. The parking is free and the beach chaise lounges and umbrellas are free as well. They keep extra towels in the rooms instead of the skimpy 2 that many hotels allow. We stayed for 3 days and then went to Key Largo for a few days. We hadn't decided what we planned to do for the next week. We decided to just go back to the Sun Tower. The first stay we were in a regular room but the 2nd stay we were in a suite with a very nice living area and kitchen. All rooms face the ocean. The balconies are just wide enough for a couple of chairs but it was incredible hearing the ocean at night and having the sun come up right onto your balcony.

Unbeatable for the Price

A clean affortable hotel with ocean view in a safe area with the beach outside the lobby. Hotel furnished free chairs and umbrella. No breakfast is provided.

Best keep secret in Ft. Lauderdale

Although it looks a little old school, this place is super. Owner extremely nice and working hard to make it 4 star. The rooms are tremendous. The location is great and the beach is right under your windows. For the price, it's out of this world.

Exactly what we were looking for

We toured about the State for five days. Looking for a nice place on the beach for our last night. Discovered an underrated gem: pleasant service, outstanding view and the rooms were impeccable. Not equipped with all the bells and whistles of a 5 star but definitely all the comfort and feel. Can't wait to return.
