Hilton Miami Downtown

One of the best hotels, and location, but bad area.

I stayed at this Hilton because it was really close to the Port of Miami where I took a cruise. For the price I paid, it very much exceeded my expectations. The only one thing I didn't like about the hotel was the area around it. Other than that, I liked this hotel greatly in every way.

The Stay

The hotel was in a perfect place. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would love to come back and stay.

hotel good, parking bad

we were happy with the hotel, except they promised to bring a free refrigerator to the room, but they never brought it. Parking is a nightmare. There is an extra fee (expensive) for parking. We parked at a public parking for 1/3 of that fee, but had to take the monorail back to the hotel. I never have been to a hotel where parking was not included. It's too bad that everything is so money oriented.

Wonderful views from Balcony rooms and very convenient for meeting cruise ships

Under Construction

Just to let everyone know that this hotel was just purchased by "Hilton." It was a no-name hotel. It is in big need of updating. They are updating the outside but the inside is not up to par.

Needs Improvement

The hotel is pretty old and is nothing better than a place to sleep at night. The staff was not friendly. On Sunday when we checked out the 3 of the 4 elevators were not working as a result I (and most of the guests) had to come down the stairs carry the bags ( I was on the 10th floor). Not only that, but they charged me $25 for parking even though I called ahead of time and they said there was no charge. I will never go back there

No one told us that there was gonna be construction going on. There was loud drilling from sunup to basicly sundown. There were a a number of racist valets that kept overlooking me and my husband and taking other peoples car. Until i went off. For the money, it was not worth it. We were better off staying at home.

Decent room for the money

The hotel is conveniently located from the Miami Int'l Airport and the Port of Miami so we were happy with that since we went on a cruise. The room is decent for the money that we paid but we expected much more from staying at the Hilton. Room could use a little more maintenance and bathroom was not as clean as it should have been.

Not what I expected for a Hilton Hotel

We stayed in the junior suite. The room was very clean and nice. The only Flaw of the room was that their was no balcony being as though we were in a suite. Only one elevator out of six were working and the services was not at all great being as though we were staying at the hilton. We order food to the room and it literally took an hour after they called stating it was on its way up. Come to realize the order was completely wrong and we just went out to eat instead. I honsetly got better staff service at best western.

amazing hotel! BUT....

why charge 28 dollars for parking??? That really will make me think twice before visiting again. It's a beautiful hotel, in a beautiful location, but the parking price is ridiculous!

Great Location!

The hotel was great and only 10min from South Beach. It was perfect! Great Customer Service, Valet parking is a little expensive but WELL worth it. I was looking to stay closer to South Beach but this was actually better than expected. Good price and all. I would def. stay here again.
