A Wonderful Experience

We ended up staying an extra day we liked it so much! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was such a neat experience to be able to stay on the Queen Mary! It truly felt like we had stepped back in time. Priced well and very conveniently located to everything we wanted to do in Long Beach.

Wonderful destination

Fun place to stay especially anyone interested in history. I loved walking around the ship and looking at all the artifacts. It really takes you back in time.

Exceptional day with my daughter

One of the reasons for going to the Queen Mary was its historical importance and to expose my daughter to this living and breathing ship. My expectations were actually lower as I had traveled on a cruise before and had very small quarters. In the historican tour we discovered that they only converted the First Class cabins into hotel rooms and of course added modernfeatures to them. This still means some economies like a tub the length of the width of the shower, but my daughter found that fun. I also used one of my free nights for the trip and I was surprised that they allowed me to upgrade the room to a larger one for a relatively small fee compared to the room costs. I had wished I would have had dinner in what appeared fine restaurants but my daughter was happier with pizza and sandwiches. Definitely take one of the tours as that really added to an amazing visit.

not completed hotel for the expectations

did not find any ac. or heater. bed to small. and not have pool or gym .

nice renovation ,has alot of character

My daughter & I enjoyed the hotel. The breakfast buffet was great. Hotel staff was friendly & Service was excellent. There is no pool on site. Parking was $15.00 per night,a little on the expensive side. We will return in the future for another stay on the Queen Mary.

A stop back to another era! Great hotel

The Queen Mary Hotel experience is a step back to another era. Our deluxe twin room was spacious and had a great bathtub for soaking. The best part of my stay was the heating and air conditioning system. The blowers drowned out my husband's snoring! The only drawback to the hotel was parking. Unless you paid extra for valet parking, it was a long schlep with bags to the hotel.

Realistically priced

We stayed there for 1 night only, and it was a nice enough stay. More for the novilty factor than the comfort and facilities. If it is facilities and all that comes with a modern hotel, then look elsewhere but if you want something different, then this is for you.
