Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 52Nothing special but clean
The price was great, but the hotel was obviously aging. The room and property were clean, but nothing special. The shower was hot then cold (and I mean COLD) then hot again, repeat this about 10 times in the course of a shower. The bed was a little lumpy, but overall not too bad. It was very quiet, and while in a great location close to Universal, it was set way off of the main roads making it both very quiet and secluded, but also a little hard to find if you have people meeting you there. Overall, I would stay here again as long as the price remains low.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 3 of 52Great room for the money
We went to Orlando for Halloween Horror Nights and when I got there I asked if we could get a king bed instead of 2 doubles being that we were only there for 1 night and were not even going to be there long and she upgraded us to a suite. Yes it needs remodeling but the stay was great.

We were able to check in early. It's not fancy but it was nice cool and served our purpose to be right next to Universal. Would recommend it to anyone!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 52Absolutely GREAT!
Everything was great. I have stayed here before and of course went back and will keep going. Its in a great location, its clean and safe. For the price, it just doesn't get much better than that!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 7 of 52Modest Hotel for Modest price
1. I was requested to pay $5.00 for breakfast while breakfast was included for other hotel guests. No explanation given. Indian cuisine food offered was not appealing. 2. The near-by TGI Friday's which had buffet for 9.99. 3. Very convenient 15 minute walk to Universal Properties. Hotel does offer shuttle to Universal. 4. Room was clean and comfortable for over night stay. Felt safe. 5. After night sleep, next day, I had itchy, rash on skin. I strongly recommend sleeping with PJ's on. Not sure if rash/itch from bed fleas or linen.

For the price and location, the hotel was perfect. Some of the front desk personnel were not very helpful when needing assistance.

this hotel is not in walking distance to the park, the shuttle runs once a day.The worst part the lobby is the best part of this hotel, the rooms are smelly and old the price was cheap but i did not choose this room . you get what you pay for.after checking in the clerk tells me to go to the desk behind him to get my parking pass(i was very tired)the guy with the parking pass is going to try and get you to buy time share and go threw his presentation before giving you the pass this is unprofessional.go somewhere else.ruuun

Trip Type: Special Event Review 14 of 52Good for the money
Hotel is at an ideal location, and very cheap for that location. The on-site Indian food restaurant (Tabla bar and grill) is absolutely wonderful and reasonably priced, and open very late. There was an additional charge not reflected in the quote for a "resort fee", and before you check in, they will harass you extensively to buy Universal tickets from them (you can't check in until you've heard their spiel). Half way thru our stay, the room cards de-activated, and we had to listen to the ticket spiel AGAIN just to get them re-activated. The rooms are acceptable, price and location are near perfect, and Tabla restaurant was amazing. But the hotel staff selling tickets at the front desk do not have the word "No" in their vocabulary. Internet only works outside of rooms in a number of places. There were a number of people (including myself) sweating up a storm late at night outside their rooms with their laptops just to check e-mail. I don't know if it was that way around whole hotel, or only the rooms near the algae pond. If not for the Tabla restaurant, I would rate this hotel lower.
