Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 38I prefer intelligent hotels to green hotels.
The room was lacking a closet as well as a luggage rack which meant that our suitcase sat on the floor and our clothes were not hung up. (A waist-high rod with a curtain is not a closet.) Our bed was not a queen but a double which is odd for a newish hotel and the sink was so shallow and the faucet so low that it was impossible to really wash one's face. Of course there was no counterspace next to sink for toiletries which is de rigeur these days for some unknown reason. The pillows were small, square and foam which guaranteed two mornings of crooked necks. Our room looked out on a brick wall. The morning coffee consisted of coffee, paper cups, and tiny containers of half and half. Would it be that much trouble to put some cartons of milk on ice? The coffee was also so hot it burnt my tongue!

Room was VERY small and the $42.00/night valet parking fee was ridiculous.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 38Great value, the service not so much, but who needs good service anyway
good price, but normally it is not good to have a personal phone conversation and act bothered by the fact that you showed up to check in and get your room key, just saying

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 38Lovely Hotel!!
From the doormen to the lobby, it's pretty impressive. The attendants at check in were ok, Konrad on check out was very nice smiled a lot, and was very kind. The hotel is very clean and the doormen were always ready to hail a cab for me. I enjoyed the spa shampoo, conditioner, body butter, and shea butter bar of soap. The Deluxe Kohler Shower head in the bathroom is FANTASTIC, and the Egyptian Cotton Plush Towels are great. The Linens on the bed are cozy and soft, and the pillows are decadent down pillows. Loved the HDTV, and having the ability to watch movies that are still in theaters. My favorite amenity was the iHome iPod alarm clock radio in the room, it has great sound and I loved that I could just plug in my iPod and rock out and feel like I was at home. AWESOME! Room was very clean and the cleaning staff was VERY NICE!! Love the Hotel Felix and I will definitely be back again!!!

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 6 of 38Birthday vacation
The Hotle Felix was a nice place to stay. It was very small like the other reviews said it was but for a weekend getaway, it really didn't matter. The spa area was nice and so was the bar area. The massages were great and the staff was excellent. I would reccomend this hotel. The neighborhood was under construction but hte hotle was in a great place and not a far distance from city attractions.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 38Hotel Felix in Chicago
We had driven 12 hours from Alabama to Chicago to spend time with our daughter and were exhausted. GPS took us straight to the hotel. All of the staff were wonderful. The room was soooo cozy and the bed cushy and comfortable. We crashed and rested for 12 hours. My only mistake was that I should have checked on parking while booking to know the additional cost. Other than that, we have absolutely no complaints. Good location, wonderful staff, room was small but fine for two people. Worth the price - OH Yeah!

Great hotel for what I paid at the given time. I would not pay any more to stay here. Thats only because the rooms are soo small. But other than that it was great..no complaints.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 38Great hotel, great location
My wife and I just got back from one night's stay at Hotel Felix. I was slightly concerned due to the comments other have made regarding room size, but we loved the hotel. Yes, the rooms may be smaller than what you are used to- but you've read that this is a LEED certified establishment right? While not huge, the room was big enough for my wife and I both to occupy at once. We only stayed for one night so we did not have large suitcases with us, but we thought the room was appropriately sized-- especially for the price we paid. Everything was very nice and of great quality. We loved the bed/pillows. They were very comfortable and made it difficult to get out of bed in the morning! All of the staff were very courteous. Doorman remembered us every time we returned. They even let us check in to the room way earlier than we expected. The hotel is walking distance to many things. Block or so away from the Chicago Redline stop... walking distance to Whole Foods, Room & Board, Design Within Reach, shopping, etc. If you're a beer drinker, be sure to check out Clark St. Ale House just around the corner.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 12 of 38Good Experience Overall
This hotel is well-run, clean, and modern. It's in a good location, but there was a lot of construction nearby, which made walking a challenge. The staff was helpful and friendly, and it was a pretty good value for the money. There's no kitchen-no coffee maker or fridge, but there's free coffee in the lobby in the morning.

I found a good deal for Hotel Felix and it was definitely worth it! My room was nice, modern, and clean. The bedding was so plush and comfortable! The room was small, but it was ok for me, just 1 person staying 1 night. It's within good walking distance of lots of downtown attractions and shopping.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 15 of 38Small Rooms
Hotel Felix is a nice and clean hotel which is considered green. The rooms are very small, no clostes, shower only, and only 2 drawers for clothes. Good hotel for one person or for weekend getaway.
