Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 61Great Stay
It was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. Close to the Brown Line, 1 block away from Starbucks, Whole Foods and some great restaurants. It was clean, green and the staff was very friendly.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 61Very Nice and Convenient
This hotel is in a great location for lots of restaurants and for Magnificent Mile shopping. I totally disagree with the previous review that said there were no dining choices, there were numerous good places. The rooms are small, but very clean and modern. I was surprised by free internet, unusual for a center city hotel, but not sure if this is always the case or if it was some kind of promotion.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 61Nice but nothing special
The hotel staff was friendly. The hotel had a nice chic boutique feel but overall, nothing to write home about. Yes it was nice, yes it was clean, but it was missing the wow factor.

The hotel was nice, however, the location was not great. There is really nothing to do around and not too many food options.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 61Nice Finishes, Small Rooms
good hotel for the right price, the rooms here are definitely on the small side and are fine for 1-2 night stays. renovations are very nice and the finishes are great, but spacing in the rooms is tight. awkward sink fixtures in the bathroom.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 61Great Boutique Hotel
Genuinely friendly service overall. Room "cozy" as you'd expect in a city center - but well appointed; bathroom clean and modern; toiletries hi-end; HDTV was a nice touch for viewing the game; bed was above-average in comfort. Adjoining restaurant served a tasty breakfast, good coffee.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 61Great Location
Hotel is in a great location. Very clean and secure. Restaurant in hotel serves breakfast. Rooms are small but comfortable. They do not have feather pillows at this point. Staff is very friendly. Great complimentary coffee in the lobby during the morning.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 61good deal
Nice Hotel, the lobby smelled a little odd but was nice and clean. Unfortunately I had no breakfast included in my rate. Though you are very central there is no good breakfast place near by. Would stay there again.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 61New hotels, very small rooms, great location
This is a relatively new hotel. Great location, because you are close to Michigan Ave but not so close that you have the inconvenience of all that foot traffic and tourists. Rooms are very small. I only stayed two nights and didn't spend much time in the room. If you are planning a long stay or wanting to relax in the room a lot, this might not be for you. For instance, the closet is incredibly tiny and there's little floor room for anything other than the bed and your shoes. Hotel staff was very friendly. They gave me a recommendation for a fabulous vegan restaurant located just a few blocks away. It was awesome!! I also appreciated the eco-friendly touches of the hotel. Valet, garage parking nearby, or feed the meters on the street.

The room was very small, not really meant for two people. Otherwise, everything was excellent. We would stay there again, if the price is right.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 61Hotel Felix a small gem in big Chicago
The Hotel Felix seems to be a newcomer to a neighborhood north of the river that looks to have undergone some gentrification in recent years. New restaurants, and a Whole Foods are all nearby. The restaurant, Elate adjacent to the hotel was great. MY one complaint was that the rooms, although comfortable, were quite small.
