Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 12Poor customer service
I was happy to re-book this hotel at first but, last Sunday's stay was very upsetting. First, they gave me a room that smelled like cigarette smoke. Come on, I worked in the hotel industry and regardless if it was a smoking room or not, it needs to have been treated. There is a machine that helps dispose of the odor. So, I had to change my room. The second room didn't have a microwave or fridge. I'm sorry but, if you are on vacation or out of town, all hotel rooms should have these amenities. I went to Jamaica and stayed in hotel of equal quality and they got it right. So, on to room number #3. I cut on the TV and they only had a few local channels. That is really unacceptable. I spoke to the front desk about it and they were absolutely no help. Spoke to the manager the following morning and he was no help.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 12Good if you're going to the airport...
This is a clean, cheap airport hotel, worth booking if you're just there to catch a plane the next day. Avoid the "breakfast" - it's a rip-off.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 12The place for late night partying
The wife and I are 30 years old, so don't think I'm a crotchety old dude or something. I just like to sleep when I crawl into my hotel bed. That said, here goes. The front door of this Days Inn shares a parking lot with a night club. Our flight into Miami got in at 11:30pm, so upon our arrival to the hotel at midnight there were easily 30 to 40 twenty somethings partying in the parking lot/entry way to the hotel/night club. I'm certain that these people rent rooms there since they're cheap (and it makes it easier to not have to drive home drunk). Thus, the room next to us as well as across the hall were filled with kids partying until literally 10am. No joke. We were woken up half a dozen times by the sound of young black men hollering, latino girls whooping, etc, and we had the worst sleep of our trip. What a headache. We pulled in at midnight, so we didn't want to drop extra money on a more expensive hotel for a simple 8 hour night of sleep. If we could do it again, we'd spend the extra money just to avoid the night club partiers.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 12Needs vast improvement
There was trash from a previous guest in the bathroom. The toilet was dirty as was the shower. The water temperature fluctuated from cold to scalding hot in the course of ten minutes. Half of the staff only spoke Spanish and could not answer any questions. We had requested a wake up call and never received it. When I asked the gentleman downstairs if they had forgotten, he ignored me and walked away from the desk. The hotel shuttle was late picking us for the airport. There was hair in my food from the cafe downstairs. All in all, it was a pretty bad hotel. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The only saving grace is that there was a Wendy's within walking distance.

We already had a lot of worse hotels/motels for that price. With days inn miami int'l airport you can only make it right!

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 12Just what we wanted.
My girlfriend and I were looking for a hotel with free parking, free wireless internet, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a low price! This place had it all. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to send and receive a fax without a complaint. Traffic can be bad, but otherwise the hotel is very accessible and gave good access to Miami.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 12Good deal
The hotel was nice with free shuttle service to and from the hotel. It was clean and the staff was nice and quick with everything. The only downside there really isnt much around but if you drive there or take a taxi about 5 minutes you can find a plaza with lots of restaurants and a couple stores. I enjoyed my stay and will stay there again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 12Great stay
I had read the reviews beforehand and didn't expect much, but when I checked in I was pleasantly surprised. The front desk was curtious. The housekeeping staff, especially Marisol, was very quick to get my room ready the next day when I came back. There's only two main ways to get to and from the hotel and once you learn what they are it's not confusing at all. And if youre bored you can walk down the road and watch the jumbo jets land and take off. Overall this was a most pleasant stay and will stay here again. Definately.
