Wonderful Escape

Our unfortunately only one night stay exceeded our expectations, we would love to return. Dinner could be a little more exciting, but overall it was a wonderful experience.

Outstanding Hotel, Nice Amenities, Wall Soundproofing Could Use Improvement

Everything, including amenities, cleanliness, hotel staff, view, location - everything was outstanding. The only area of improvement from my point of view was the noise. During the day, it was fine (lots of outside ocean ambient noise, which is pleasant) but in the evenings when things are quieter, noises from other rooms can be heard quite easily. Had to knock on the room next to mine to ask them to quiet their talking/laughing at 2:30am. Tried calling front desk at first, but didn't get an answer. Thankfully, the next room guests politely complied with my request. Other than that, I'd recommend this hotel. Definitely planning on staying there again - it's a great hotel.

This hotel is what a true romantic getaway defines. On the beach, amazing service, quiet and comfy with all the amenities you want in a hotel.

A great hotel!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was very comfortable, and the hotel was as clean and attractive as could be. We loved our patio, overlooking a small bay where you can see boats and kayaks and seals very close up. Then, there were pretty views of the ocean beyond, and hills. The pool was fantastic -- perfectly heated. The hotel had free bike rental which was a highlight of the trip. The only possible down side is that you can't really walk to the beach, but we were totally thrilled with our stay and would go again. The in-room food service was outstanding too!

Great hotel

The Portifino Hotel is actually a really nice and updated hotel. My friend and I were able to really relax and get some much needed rest. In terms of the room, they are smaller than I had expected, however it was extremely clean. The beds were really comfortable and the shower is great. Upon checking in we were given two parking passes (we drove separate cars, however upon checking out we were presented with a bill for both cars @ $18 a night. I would have preferred that when we checked in the hotel informed us about the cost for parking. Other than that we were overall pleased with our stay.

Very Pleasant stay !

We thought the hotel was great. The staff was very helpfull professional and curtious. I left my wedding band in the hotel, relized this as we were at the airport waitng to depart back home, called the hotel, a very nicxe woman named Crystal very quickly called me back and had my ring sent to my home and recieved two days later. We will definately stay at The Portofino Hotel and Yaght Club again! Sincerely, Greg
