Too loud, too noisy

This hotel plays loud disco music all day in the lobby and you can hear TVs and people talking between rooms. Not a restful place to be. That's disappointing because the location is calm and restful outside the hotel.

Great room for the money

Had a low budget room on the first floor with a view of the parking lot, but considering what I paid, it was good value. A room with marina or ocean views would have been better, but no complaints.

Great Room for money but steep parking fee!

We arrived on a late flight and only checked in at 11:30 pm. Upon entering the surroundings were clean and welcoming along with the hotel staff. One thing that was not mentioned on check-in was that regardless of where you parked (self-or valet), there was a $20 parking fee. This I found was a bit ridiculous for self-parking. Beyond that, the room was great and the beds very comfortable. We had the marina view and had no disturbance from the seals. Overall I would recommend the hotel. Great location for what we needed and easy in/out access.

Beautiful location

Jacuzzi was broken for the two nights we were there. Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location.

Great location

Hotel has a fantastic location - I think it is the only one in Redondo Beach which overlooks the sea. Had a room with a sea view which was beautiful (bit noisy with the window open due to the sea lions barking in the harbour). Had problems with the wireless internet in our room which did not get resolved but we were able to use another room for a few hours to work in. We used our free nights to stay for 3 nights in one of the best rooms paying only the taxes. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Redondo Beach.

Portofino Hotel and Yacht Club

We had a great stay. The room was comfortable, but it was a basic hotel room (no fridge, microwave or lounger). The decorating was really nice with a nautical theme. There were free bicycles available for cruising the beach or riding over to the Redondo Pier for dinner. The pool was small, but very nice, and near the entrance to the marina if you like to watch boats.

Relaxing resort type hotel

The hotel is walking distance to the Redondo Pier and several restaurants. It is a nice hotel with a good location and not too pricey!

Great place

Stayed here for 12 nights and it was great. We stayed in a 2 queen with 2 kids. It's a short 5-10 minute walk to the beach, the beach to the north is much nicer then the one to the south and closer. To the south is a fun harbor area. The majority of the staff was very nice to us.

Great Beach Hotel

The hotel was fabulose, we got a great rate via hotels.com. It is the perfect hotel for those who are looking to have a relax beach experience, and is close to tha LAX airport. However if you are more into partying it is a bit far from Sunset Blvd and the trendy areas. It took us about 45 minutes with minimal traffic to get to Melrose Ave, Sunset Blvd, downtown LA, etc. But, we loved the hotel.

Outstanding!

I was very suprized by this hotel. I got a very reasonable rate for my midweek stay and did not ever expect it to be this nice. Our room was on the 3rd level, ocean side. Beds were great, decor peaceful, all amenities perfect and the service of the staff was outstanding. I can not wait to stay here again. Im going to take my husband next time for a romantic getaway!The seals are a little loud but they give you ear plugs! You will not be disappointed!
