Tipo de viaje: Romance Reseña 2 de 35Outstanding hotel
For the price of a "normal" hotel room in most major cities, we got a huge suite that faced out on the hotel garden, breakfast and internet access, luxurious bathrobes to wear around, and a staff that could not have been more helpful. Only problem was the smell of kerosene (?) in the back hallways. It's possible that they were testing the heat that week in preparation for the cold season, but it was really overpowering.

We were a bit apprehensive about staying in an older hotel in Vieux Montréal, but we ended up pleasantly surprised by how modern and comfortable it was. Our suite was extremely clean and maintained. Our room looked out onto the garden restaurant which we also found to be extremely good. Breakfast was included with the room and it was more than adequate. Walking distance to most tourist areas in under 5 minutes making it a particularly good choice to be surrounded by good food and attractions. It was on the higher end of our budget, but was a plurge I'm glad we made.

Tipo de viaje: Romance Reseña 4 de 35Great location with great service
Great value for a hotel located in Old Montreal. All the amenities you are looking for with a very helpful staff. You won't regret staying here, we didn't.

Tipo de viaje: Romance Reseña 7 de 35Beautiful Romatic Hotel
Situated in the beautiful old port section of Montreal, this is the perfect spot to begin your tour. The rooms are lovely and quite large. Our suite had an actual bedroom which allowed my husband to get up, go to the living room, sip coffee, and read the paper (delivered daily to the room) without disturbing me if I wanted to sleep a bit longer. The breakfast buffet is very nice - the continental is included; for a minimal additional amount, you can add a full buffet on mornings when you find yourself wanting a bit more. The terrace restaurant was a lovely place to have a cocktail, and while we didn't eat there, the food looked wonderful. The staff is friendly and incredibly helpful. We look forward to staying at Le Saint Sulpice again!

Tipo de viaje: Romance Reseña 8 de 35Great hotel, but not designed for women
The hotel accommodations and location are great, but upon entering the room, I quickly concluded that the hotel must have been designed by a man. The bathroom, though of decent size and beautiful enough, lacked some key design elements for the female traveler. Counter space was a little limited, and the only robe hooks were located over the only full length mirror. There was only one hook for a towel in the shower - most women use two towels (one for hair, one for body). The lighting was inadequate, with no shower or tub lights. The overall aesthetic of the room was a little rigid and masculine, which was inconsistent with the sinuous S motifs found throughout the hotel's design concept. I doubt anyone else would notice or care about design details like these, but better design decisions would have increased my satisfaction. A word to the wise - don't eat brunch in the garden on Sunday. We paid about $125CAD for brunch - pure insanity! The location is perhaps the best thing about this hotel. Walking distance to excellent food and fun! Relatively quiet for peaceful nights on the balcony.

Tipo de viaje: Romance Reseña 12 de 35Excellent, but undergoing construction
Major construction going on right now in front of the hotel that closed off the street and made for a confusing first-arrival. Afterwards, all was straightened out, but I would have preferred to have been briefed on the construction status prior to my arrival. Otherwise, the experience was top-notch.

Tipo de viaje: Romance Reseña 13 de 35Attentive Service
Le Saint Sulpice is an attractive hotel with some obiously new and modern improvements, but their strongest note is from their staff. From the moment we were there to the moment we left, the staff at Le Saint Sulpice were attentive to just about all our needs. They were all fluent in at least 2 languages and could flip from one to the other effortlessly and with little accent. On 2 nights when we arrived in our room from a long day out and about we were greeted with a phone call from the front desk asking if we had any needs. I am in the hospitality business and I can honestly say the the staff at Le Saint Sulpice has developed a culture of service to which many establishments can only aspire.
