Great Value

My family had to do much business in the rooms preparing for a wedding. The rooms were large enough for several people to interact without difficulty. The view was not all that great but we didn't rent the room for the lanai. The kitchen, dinette and two double beds and large room were a killer combination. Thanks to the hotel staff for a great vacation.

for thise on a tight budget that don't mind minimal air conditiioning and bedding it is ok but for those who are used to real air conditioning this will let you down. the room was good sized and as advertised with no frills.

Think Twice

Try to keep this brief. The staff was kind and helpful when it came to information about the surrounding area. Proximity to Waikiki is excellent. However, the hotel itself feels like 1992. Beds are like sleeping on a cross between cardboard and concrete. Relatively clean but musty. Found a cockroach in the bathroom. The End.

Happy in Hawai'i at the Ilima

If the Ilimi were right on the sand at Waikiki and they did some cosmetic updating, people would flock to this hotel. As it is now, this is an exceptional value with its large rooms, kitchenettes, wonderful service, free internet, free parking, laundry facilities, and central location, albeit closer to the canal than the sand. We just dropped our youngest off to start at UofH Manoa, and this hotel will probably be our "ohana" in Hawai'i when we visit until we find a better value, if that is possible.

Fit the bill for my needs

Stayed here after moving out of my apartment. Was looking for a place with kitchen facilities, but with a decent price and nearby to waikiki so I could enjoy the beach before I left Hawaii. While the colour scheme was a bit too pink for my tastes and the room could have used a bit of maintenance TLC, it was very convenient and quite comfortable. Very quiet and walking distance to all I needed.

one of the best

Cleanest hotel we have seen in Honolulu.The location cannot be beat. One can walk almost anywhere. The bath tiles were brand new in appearance & there was NO dust to be found in the room. The entire staff from front desk to the cleaning staff went out of their way for us. While there is no rest. in the hotel, the proximity of food from five star to fastfood was all within walking range. Strogly suggest this hotel to any visitor to Wawaii.

Okay Hotel

This hotel was a little older than I expected but it was pretty clean. The main problem is the parking. The stalls are really small to park a larger car but they fit. Other than that, the front desk personnel was wonderful and friendly the rooms are big but the bed was uncomfortable.

Great value

Considering the prices of comparable hotels in Wakiki area, I found this to be a great value! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great location (close to beach and international market place)and very clean. The room needed a few cosmetic updates, but other than that it was perfect.

WELL KEPT SECRET

HAD A WONDERFUL STAY RECENTLY. THE STAFF WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND INFORMATIVE, CLEANING SERVICE WAS TIMELY AND EFFICIENT AND THE LOCATION IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! THE AMENITIES WERE SUFFICIENT AND WHILE THE HOTEL MAYBE SOMEWHAT "OLDER", IT STILL HOLDS ITS OWN FOR WHAT YOU PAY. DEFINITELY AN ENJOYABLE AND RELAXING TIME SPENT.
