Tipo de viaje: Business Reseña 1 de 14Very Good for the Money...
Very Good for the money... It is a older hotel... Location was very good for a seminar across the street at the Waikiki Marriot. The Ocean Resort was 1/3 the price of the Marriot. Alright. Its a good place to rest and relax... with some of the old charm of Hawaii in the 70's. I would stay there again. Wesley from Mililani, HI.

Tipo de viaje: Business Reseña 3 de 14Disappointing
I stayed for at Castle Ocean Resort for almost the entire month of August 2009. It was very disappointing. The furnishings, including rugs, drapes and trash receptacles near the elevators, were very shabby. The air conditioning did not seem to stay at a constant temperature, my television remote did not work, and after it was replaced, the television was faulty. In my kitchenette unit, the kithen sink had obviously been leaking for an extended period under the cabinet by the time I reported it. My kitchenette included one free regular coffee filter and one free decaf coffee filter upon check-in, but that was the extent of the complimentary items. But the worst of all, on the morning of our originally scheduled check-out, we were made to feel by one young woman at the front desk that we were being evicted. (The older woman at the front desk, Lynn, was consistently helpful, however.) For the length of time that we stayed in the hotel, I thought we were treated poorly, and I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Title says it all. If you want to cheap out on your Waikiki experience then I do recommend this hotel. This hotel needs a remodel. From the out dated furniture to the rust lines from the bathroom fixtures. Overall, I would recommend your stay in Waikiki at another hotel for your first visit.

Was a little run down, could use new carpet and paint but was well positioned a few blocks back from the beach. the water views are partially obscurred by the 2 hotels in between the hotel and the water. was decent value for money as the other hotels are expensive in the area but be warned, you get what you pay for.

Hi, I have been writing as I should say some problems actually occurred during my stay. 1)In the morning, the housekeeping person have knocked a few times, but I didn't answer because I was so tired at the morning. And surprisingly enough, the housekeeping person has been trying to enter into my room without my answer and my permission to enter, and she or she with some women have tried to enter by using magnet key, but the door has not opened and some Japanese woman said that "I'm cursing, you are hateful////" I cannot understand why such persons have said so suddenly and I don't want to enter into my room without my answer or without permission to enter even though the housekeeping person has the spare keys. 2) Next time, I stayed at the hotel, firstly, the front person has assigned the room with connecting door. I think there are some rooms with connecting door but I would like to ask the staff to assign such a room with connecting door if the staying person is just one or a few women, or without group persons without any relationship to the next door. At this time, I refused to stay the room with connecting door, and I could stay another usual type room, but I was so surprized the room, and I cannot understand why some sticky stalkers could have appeared at the same accommodation even though I have changed or I have just arrrived at such accommodation. So awful enough to describe. 3) Poor side : there were so strange Japanese or Japanese groups, and they have been making so loud voice or a kind of harassments saying or bahevior, so I cannot understand why they are so sticky, and they should make me so annoying or sufferring emotion or situaiton, also I should say such Japanese behavior or shouting level voices have effected so badly to the accommodation or the other persons, too. Further, the price is proper and the units or facilities or kitchen items at the room are enough to stay for several days and I think some loud noisy sound has scattering from the a

Tipo de viaje: Business Reseña 9 de 14Great room for the money/location
It is a quick walk to all things touristy, as well as great restaurants and just a few steps from an ABC store (convenience store/gift shop). Very easy to grab a cab or the free shuttle. Front desk staff wasn't exceptionally helpful, but still friendly enough and acceptable. The room is substantially cheaper than even the hotel directly across the street - totally worth the money.

Tipo de viaje: Business Reseña 11 de 14Not clean, mattresses sagged, people and service very nice
The hotel room had small hairs on the sink area and in the shower stall. The faucet in the sink looked like it either had toothpaste or hadn't been properly rinsed of its cleanser. The shower stall didn't drain properly. The mattresses were not supportive. The remote for the old TV was friendly and helpful.

Tipo de viaje: Business Reseña 12 de 14Satisfied
The hotels was in a great location in relation to Waikiki, but extremely noisy due to traffic. The room was very clean and the room service was superb. The price was fair, no perks and the hotel needs updating. I would recommend this hotel if you're looking for basic accommodations, just request a room facing Waikiki to avoid the busy street in the back.

Tipo de viaje: Business Reseña 13 de 14Comfortable, Clean, Accessible Budget Hotel near beach
Sizable room with comfortable bed. Nice hotel restaurant in lobby, reasonably priced food. Valet parking and overnight parking available. Well serviced room. Located at the end of Waikiki next to Honolulu Zoo, Kapiolani Park (good for walking), near Diamond Head, and a block away from Waikiki Beach. Hotel is easily accessible from Kapahulu Street to avoid traffic in Waikiki.
