Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 61Very Good Hotel, Especially Compared to Competitors
We were pleasantly surprised by the Royal Plaza. Having stayed across the street at the Regal Sun Resort previously, we had low expectations. The Royal Plaza was clean, convenient and in good condition. I would pick this hotel over the Regal Sun any day. The only real downside is that I resent having to pay for parking. There is tons of space and it seems petty.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 61Pay to park?!!!!
Even if you decide to park your own car you get hit with an $8/night parking fee? Shouldn't it just go without saying that you are going to have a car. It's like charging a "Fork" fee when you go to a restaurant. Kind of rediculous, but I got a good rate from Hotels.com and the location is great so what the heck?

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 61Fine, but could be improved.
There was a strong sour odor in the hotel lobby. I was also a little disappointed that the drink service by the pool was not available. We wanted to sit by the pool for a while in the late afternoon. A person behind the bar in the hotel accommodated our request for drinks, after first being told by someone else that drinks would not be served until 5:00 p.m. Location was perfect, however.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 61Great hotel, just don't eat breakfast there.
Second stay at this hotel. Great hotel but Sunday breakfast fell short. Breakfast hours were 6:30 to 10:30, you could choose from menu or buffet. Got there about 10:15, along with several other hotel guests. Once sitted, staff disppeared, there was no coffee, no orange juice and not sure how long food had been on buffet. Eventually someone did take our order and after another hotel guest complained, more coffee was brought. We waited about 20 minutes but our food never came, so we left. When we asked at the front desk for a restaurant serving breakfast, clerk really didn't know of one. Turns out there was a Perkins across the street.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 61Gorgeous Hotel room plus all the ammenities!
We were extremely happy with this hotel. The hotel room itself was picturesque. The bed and bedding were very luxurious. We also enjoyed the very roomy bathroom with separate shower and large bathtub. This hotel has so much to offer. My boyfriend is a bodybuilder, and he was more than satisfied with the hotel fitness center. Pool, tennis...just too much to do after a long day at the Disney parks. The bus service to theme parks and Downtown Disney were prompt, clean and safe. I would recommend this hotel for theme park visitors, those on a romantic getaway or just a weekend away with the kids.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 61Extra hidden Fees
The stay was very nice. We had a great room but on top of regular fees and taxes i had to pay $8.00 a day to park my car on the property also another $8.00 for more resort fees per day. If they changed there fees policy I might go back and stay again.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 61Great Room for the Money
You would expect to pay more for this hotel. The view from the top(17th) flood was outstanding. Room was very clean & very comfortable. Only complaint was the jacuzzi tub did not work.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 61It was just OK
The hotel staff is very friendly but when we got to the hotel room we noticed some trash on the floor. There was also hair in the bath tub. I was a little disappointed that they did not have the bar outside open and when we swam in the pool it just felt really "icky". The price and location was excellent; but I think they need to keep up with thei cleanliness and amenities.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 61Just one thing missing
This was a great hotel, beautiful room decor, comfortable, very clean. Just one problem. After a long day doing the tourist thing, you want to relax and watch cable TV or movies. They didn't have cable TV or movies! This is a standard feature at any hotel I've been in, so that was a shock. Everything else, including fast, friendly service from the front desk, was great.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 61GREAT room for the money
I booked this on a half price deal here on Hotels.com and after reading reviews here and on other sites was very concerned. However, those concerns were UNFOUNDED. The hotel was older but had been well maintain. The room I booked was supposed to be on the first or second floor but when we checked in, they upgraded us to a tower room. We asked for extra washcloths and they were delivered within minutes. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel offered a shuttle bus to and from all the parks and it ran every half hour, even in the deluges. All in all, this was a great trip and a great experience. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 61The Best Beds!!!
Have stayed 5 different times now. I walk up to the reg and tell them "I am back!" Absolutely love the beds and the quite rooms. Have the best sleep, always. Have a garden tub that really makes it special. Sometimes get an upgrade, not always but love the rooms anyway. Granddaughter sometimes comes to visit and she loves the pool.
