First-class hotel

Excellent service, good size rooms, amazing baths, amazing strip views (especially in the high floors), high quality/contemporary furnishings. I felt secure and cared for at all times. Helpful and polite concierge with quick answers for my questions. Only negative in my book is the valet-only parking, while I suppose it adds a touch of class...I just wanna park my own car and not have to wait in line to drop my car off (during busy hours).

Some minor issues

Rented two rooms. One the phones would only work on speaker. In the other room the jets in the tub didn't work and our friends found womens underwear in the closet. The area around the hotel is under construction with dirt lots on two sides. The third side is strip joints and freeway and, the fourth side, across the street is a huge mall. The inside the hotel and it's compound is awesome. Very luxurious and impressive. With the minor incoviences this was still a fantastic hotel. We would stay here again. If you get the chance, stay here.

Trump Hotel

I would rate this hotel at 4.25 Stars on all factors.. I had no problem with the Valet only parking but some patron's may be turned off by this when staying since everytime you leave and come back you have that obligated factor of tipping though its your decision and of course I do, but gets expensive for some.. Service is excellent as well as accomendations, city view is a little to be desired on lower levels when you have a north view (air conditioning units). I would stay again but would do the strip view on higher level.

Top Shelf Hotel

We stayed at the Trump for three nights and upgraded to a one bedroom suite. The accomodations were outstanding. Service was very good as well. We enjoyed not being on the stip and not having the casino noise and traffic as part of the experience. The only downside we experienced was the parking. While the team out front did their best, the set-up and system used to retrieve cars was slow during peak periods. Overall, we would though recommend the hotel and plan to stay there again.

Walk to the Strip

The Hotel is a block or so off the strip. The sidewalk is not finished and at some points you find yourself walking in the lane of traffic. At night you are walking that same block without the benefit of lights and are a little vulnerable.

Quiet Elegance but great bargain

The Trump Hotel is beautiful. Extremely elegant with marble and crystal everywhere. After the valet takes your car (no self parking), the doorman invites you into the lobby. The check-in desk staff reminds you that you can call for anything and then escorts you to your elevator. At least for the studio suites, 2 suites share an entrance way. Then you enter a suite containing a very comfortable king size bed, desk with chair, 2 easy chairs, a sofa bed and cocktail table. Oh, and a view! One wall is all wood buildins that include two closets, a flat panel TV, 2 burner stove, fridge, microwave coffee maker and even a toaster. Dishes and utensils are even provided. Then back to the bathroom with it's marble floors, soaking depth whirlpool tub, separate shower and separate commode. The vanity includes two sinks and a TV built into the mirror. We saw lots of small pets and lots of small children. We did not get to the pool level but did eat in the restaurant which again matched the elegance of the hotel. But visitors should realize that while this is a wonderful hotel, it does not have a casino. There is a small lounge area but we only observed quite conversations. In other words, this isn't a party hotel. But it's just the quiet calming place to go to after the party atmosphere of the strip.

outstanding hotel

i had a great time staying at the Trump hotel,the service was incredible,staff were friendly and the rooms were extraordinary...i will definetly be returning here!!!!

Took late checkout so could nap later in the bed!

Outstanding Hotel! Just keep in mind no casino in this hotel, and the location is a short distance from one. But this is a great difference when you walk in, and peace and quiet in the lobby, and all during the day. The room, do not even have to say, but was best bed, I have slept in, and the late checkout of 4pm I received, that was so I could nap in the bed before I check-out

OUTSTANDING

This was the best hotel ever. Be careful of the temptations of the Spa and the Restaurant. I spent more money those two places than I did for my hotel room. I really enjoyed the quietness and staff. Everyone was GREAT!!! I'm going back to Vegas in a few months and that hotel is my ONLY choice. I wouldn't dare stay at another.

Not Impressed

I booked this hotel for my parents' trip to Vegas since it has a 5 star rating, but they were not impressed. First, my dad was shocked that there was no casino (I should've looked this up) so it wasn't convenient for him to drive to other casinos to play, especially when it's late at night. Second, even though the room was spacious, their friends were staying at the hotel across the street and had a substantially bigger and nicer room. Third, there is no self parking - you always have to go through valet which made my parents feel like it was a hassle to come and go (plus, having to tip each time). To sum it up, a nice hotel, just wasn't as fancy or impressive as they thought it would be.

Beware That "Suites" Are Rooms Not Suites!

I have stayed at this property in the past, and I thought I'd take a quick vacation to L.V., especially since the rates were low due to the rescession. Since I had to have a traveling companion, the rate for a "suite" was especially attractive. Surprise! What they call a suite is what they called a regular room 9 months earlier. All of the space, with the exception of the bathroom, is in one room. If you are taking someone with you and expect privacy, don't. Also, they charge you internet access PER UNIT rather than PER ROOM. When I inquired about this internet charge during checkin, they said the internet charge was per room; when I got the bill, I was billed twice a day for internet access. I had to contact the front desk twice before they took the charges off. The front desk clerk was snippy, stating "Remember next time it's per laptop." I don't think there will be a next time Missy!
