Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 33Sleep with your ear plugs in
You want a quiet, idyllic, serene Hawaiian vacation? Don't stay at this hotel. If being in the middle of all the action and noise is your thing then this is the place of your dreams. Really, the ear plugs they give you are vital for any real REM sleep. The two night clubs below, the hubbub in the street. The screaming/yelling/puking/alarms are your constant night-time lullaby. The up side. 3 queen beds, nice. Location, perfect for the price, a block away from the main drag and 2 blocks to the beach. Pool is about the same size as a generous hot tub. Parking is a joke, but there's a great parking place for $5 less right next door and it's more secure. The bathrooms were yuk, moisture in the carpets, soft beds and a water leak from above. One elevator not running so stairs were handy. Won't stay here again. I'm looking for that Hawaiian dream hotel still.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 33Great hotel at the price!
Cheap hotel. Great location. Prompt assistance (got extra towels and cups in < 5 minutes). Room was clean. For the price it really exceeded my expectations. And 2 queen beds. What else could you want in a hotel on a budget?

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 33Great Staff, Mediorcre Room
The hotel is in the central Waikiki area, which is great if you want to be in the middle of the tourist trap. Parking can be a nightmare, but is available. The room was comfortable, but the walls are very thin and we could hear everything going on in the hallway and babies crying in other rooms. The bathroom was dimly lit and the tile grout in the shower was slightly brown. The beds were very comfortable, but one of the blankets had a large stain. The "pool" is in a very inconvenient location and was surprisingly small. The pool is the size of a large hot tub and in a very unappealing place, and not in the hotel proper. You have to walk through the garage parking and past other parked cars to get to it. The front desk and bellhop gave us amazing service. Despite my disappointment of the hotel, the service was outstanding. Overall it wasn't the worst experience, but if you plan to stay here for the duration of your trip and not just overnight like we did, I suggest that you find other accommodations if you’re tastes are remotely discerning. I’m not sure that the hotel is deserving of the three stars it has received, I’d say it’s a 2.5.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 33Met Expectations
We stayed in a suite. The bathroom was a little small by current standards, but we're in Hawaii, who stays in the bathroom that long? The beds were clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room. The front desk/lobby staff were very nice. We had to check out in the morning but were not flying home until later that evening. They kept our baggage while we were on our last excursion and even got it out so we could change into dry clothes and put it back while we went to dinner. They arranged for transportation to the airport. All this when we were not even officially still guests. I would recommmend this hotel to anyone. The only "issue" is that it is in the heart of Waikiki and with the patio doors open you can hear the night clubs. The hotel provides earplugs if the noise bothers you. However, closing the patio doors worked fine for us; it was not a huge issue for us and we slept fine. However, if you require absolute silence to sleep don't stay at this hotel or come prepared with earplugs.
