Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 101Very dirty!
Room was dirty. The headboard had a "mystery" stain that looked like something that I don't even want to think about. The balcony floor was dirty with old matches and cigarette butts all over. Would never stay here again!

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 101Good Hotel
Given the times we're in, this hotel did well. Overall, we had good experience because the hotel is comfortable. We would give it an average rating. The service was good, except in the bar/restaurant, which was a little lacking and slow. The front desk attendant upgraded us to the club level because of availability and probably because we are Joie de Vivre members. The design is a bit tired, but I'm sure there are no funds for renovations at this time. The trip from the second tower down to the fitness room meant walking through the downstairs prefunction area, which was full of people attending a conference, so this was a bit awkward, us in our work-out attire. I am not a fan of the sleep-number bed, but if you love it, you will love the beds.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 101My New Favorite in San Francisco
Hotel Kabuki was recommended by a fiend so I tried it. Glad I did. Staff is great, ambiance is contemporary but comfortable. It will become my home in San Francisco from now on. Restaurant could use some work but there are great places all around.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 101Kinda Gross...
Okay. The room was nice...not great but nice. The downside...HUGE cockroach crawled over my bed in the evening. I moved rooms the next day and there was a dirty tissue on the nightstand. Ewww!

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 101a scam
I use to stay at this hotel all the time when it was the Miyako and it was very nice. Now it has gone down hill in general. That's not the problem. They think because I booked with this web-sight and payed approximately $25 less the the other guest, They tried to treat me like dirt. In stead of putting me in the hotel they sent me to a service elevator to the annex.(floors 2,3) which I believe was a convalescent hotel for elderly Japanese last time I was there. It was run down and filthy like a tenderloin flop house. I complained and was put into the proper hotel after some fuming by the desk clerk.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 101Unique interior
For standard king room, beautiful and unique interior decorations. Japanese soaking tub was a definitely worth having!! Housekeeping staff forgot to provide complimentary soaking salts the first night. Not too sure what happened to the tea service described on their website. Best to park in the adjoining Japan Center.
