Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 18Good oceanview room
Wonderful location very close to beach. Large room. Room very hot when we got there and took small a/c hours to cool off. Halls not air conditioned and hot. We had end unit and had 2 walls of windows w/great view. Hotel not fancy but comfortable. Convenient parking.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 18Suprised by how convenient this place was, great for the money we spent
Great location right next to the beach, great staff. Although their restaurant was closed they gave us vouchers for dinner at their sister hotel nearby. Only setbacks was how early the pool closed and the expensive parking.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 18In need of HGTV .... "renovation"
Staying in Hawaii was a great experience. The Wikii area was a convenient place to shop and a place to hit the beach. Our stay at the hotel was however, not so grand. I read a review of hearing monkey's at a near by zoo and sure enough what woke us up our first and second night .... monkey's! I had to fix the toilet each time it was flushed and the bathtub would not drain. It even had roaches. Parking is not included in the price. Overall the hotel is very outdated. It needs to be renovated and updated.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 18Ok room for the money
Didn't like that we had to pay $15 per day for parking. Restaurant in the hotel could have had been food & friendly employees.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 18Great for the money
I got upgraded to a kitchenet when i got there. huge room, the only downside is there is no smoking even on the balcony. the tv could be bigger and newer then the one they have but overall great room, two blocks from the beach.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 18great place for the money
we have stayed at this hotel on a few occassions. it is a great location, just 1 block from the beach. it is an older hotel but who stays in their room any ways. has a nice swimming pool that gets the sun all day long. it is located next to the zoo and closed to everything in waikiki. you save lots of money if you go for a room with small kitchen. even the basic room has a small refrigerator. the dining room has very well prepared food at a very reasonable price. i have an will always recommend to others.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 18Need a lot of improvement
The hotel is really old and need a lot of improvement. It looks like it is 20-25 yrs old with a lot of old equipment/furniture. The beds were old size standard beds and very small for a couple. The location is very accessible to beach and zoo. However, they charge for everything including coffee in the room.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 18good location
good location, easy to get to and from the freeway, close to beach, restaurants, nightlife, zoo. considering other overpriced hotels, this was a deal! who wants to pay more than a hundred for one night when you are outside most of the day. hotel had comfortable beds, plenty of room, decent views and relatively quiet. stayed there for a couple of weeks because it was a deal!

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 18Excellent Value!
The staff was REALLY nice and the room was passable. Really old decor, but everything was clean. Pillows could use a good fluffing! Bath tub could use a severe overhaul. But we had a room on the 14th floor that had MUCH better views than our friends at the Marriott a block away paying three times as much.
