Location Location Location

Located in the middle of all the action. Great restaurants, boutiques, and nightlife all within walking distance. What more could you ask for???

Outstanding hotel and staff!

I was almost afraid to check in at this hotel when I read the one review saying that the room smelled by one of your customers. To my amazement, from checking in and checking out - the service and staff was outstanding. If you luck out with a room with the city view you will love it even more. The boutiques, restaurants and sights around the Riverside Hotel and Los Olas are just as wonderful. Folks walking the streets way into the night. I will definitely go back again and have already been telling my friends and family about it. Kudos to The Riverside Hotel!?!?!

Excellent location, Very nice hotel

You have a choice of the historic original hotel or the new modern wing. Both are clean, classy, and comfortable.

Good Location

The location is great. You are within a $10 cab ride to Riverfront or the beach. You don't have to drive or take a cab if you plan on hitting up Las Olas. The hotel itself is well kept and the staff was extremely nice. The concierge was extremely helpful. The one minor gripe I had is that the pool is across the street. Also, there is no hot tub.

great location wonderful restaurants in hotel at a good price for the neighborhood.We did upgrade to the tower and it was well worth the extra expence

Great Room

We stayed at the Riverside Hotel while in Ft. Lauderdale for a birthday party. We had a king size room in the executive tower and it was great !! The room and bath was huge, bed confy and view very pretty. We stayed at this hotel a few years ago but stayed in the older section ... I would recomend paying a little more for the executive tower.

Hotel was clean

But rooms were a bit small, what you are paying for here is location. The pool area is great hung out there all day JULY 4th. If you can get a special price on this hotel book it.

90.00 deposit for incidentals

Didn't like that they held a 90.00 deposit(for five days) for incidentals because I wanted to pay with my debit card. just like the gas stations I guess. Why not just take it out on checkout.

warm and friendly

i was at first skeptical about the hotel from the pictures that i saw on-line, however, when i arrived at the hotel it was top notch. the locaation, the staff at the hotel, the restaurant was all excellent. i would definitely stay at this hotel again. my first choice was the ritz carlton, i would stay at this hotel again over the ritz because of the location and the warm and friendly hospitatlity that i received.
