The overall experience was good. There are somethibgs to know, there is no continental breakfast, parking is not free, not a lot of places to eat for a reasonable price. So, with that said, parking is either 18 for self park or 23 for valet. The hotel employees are GREAT they go out of the way to make you happy. I would stay here again.

It was hotel in a good location downtown. They gave us a room in an old building, which had very poor ventilation and I smelled fungi. The air conditioner did not work properly and the shower head did not work. When i called maitenance, they responded quickly but the shower head still did not work properly.Average hotel and expensive for the money.

The Riverside Hotel is a beautiful old hotel but the room that we stayed in was an older room. The beds were the worst I have ever slept in and the rooms were very outdated. We tried to charge our phones and ipods only to find out the next morning that the outlet in the room wasn't working. The bathroom was very small and there was no room to set a curling iron or blow dryer. However, the staff was very friendly. For the price, I wouldn't stay in this hotel again, however, it was fairly convenient to the beach and airport.

Near everything with a great restaurant and guest-oriented staff. We got the cheap room, definitely dated furniture and bath fixtures, but excellent size, quiet. Absolutely would go back again.

Concierge was very helpful, pool was nice. Good (expensive) lunch. Walking distance to tons of good restaurants, bars, movie theater. You don't need a car. Hotel staff very friendly.

Trip Type: Family Review 15 of 19Outstanding Hotel
Great old hotel, understand the hotel was originally built in 1936. Neat history. All staff was pleasant. I would look into upgrading room next time. Wasn't intending to spend much time in the room this wisit. Lobby area and grounds were great.
