Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 6what i expected
You pretty much get what you pay for. What they dont tell you is that if you bring a dog, you can only get a ground floor room, so request one that is poolside. You also have to pay for parking and the safe in the room per night. The a/c worked but wouldn't turn off unless you put it on the heat setting. It's good if your a college student or not expecting much but want to be right on the beach.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 6need much improvement
when checking in we were charged a fee for "useing" the safe it would have been great if we could have use it the door to the safe was missing. then we were going to use the microwave to heat up some food and big suprise it dosent work.there was a lack of outlet we had to use the ones in the bathroom to charge our phones. the bed was good and the sheet very clean so was the floor. the buliding its self is due for a complete make over the walls are cracked and paint is chipped. the pool was disturbing the lack of care for was clearly noticeable from the black layer of crud around the edges of the pool. the pool vents werent working and there were bugs living in the water. i guess maybe i was expecting a little too much having worked as a front desk agent.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 6Outstanding Hotel
The customer service was fantastic. We were on the bottom floor and didnt have much of a view of the beach at first but we asked the front desk if we could go to the top with a better view and they moved us immediatly. They gave us tickets to go on a casino boat. It was amazing, the staff was so nice, the rooms were always clean. The pool area could use a little renovation as far as maybe having a little tiki bar or something but all in all, no comlaints. One of the best vacations to the beach I've been on. The view was wonderful, being able to go directly from the pool to the beach was convineant. It was just an all around wonderful experiance, and when I go back to stay at the beach again the Conch House will be where I stay 100%

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 6Good for the price
Quick check in and check out. The hotel is out dated, but okay. The pool is great. The location on the beach is great. The room could have been a bit cleaner. We were in a non smoking room, but someone had been smoking in it before we got there. Over all though it was good and I would stay there again for a quick weekend getaway

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 6Great room for the money
I didnt expect much of this hotel because of the previous reviews. There was a 50/50 chance that I would like it, and I did. The Oceanview room was wonderful. It was a nice quaint getaway. Customer service was great. I would recommend this hotel over any of the overpriced hotels in Daytona.
