This is a older hotel but in a good location for walking and discovering museums,Times Square, Central Park etc. Plan to spend some time.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 3 of 213Breakfast woes
The room is just fine, bed comfy, everything clean. A breakfast voucher is slipped under the door, you go to the 3rd floor and find out it's $6 per person. After scalding my tongue on the first sip of coffee (in a paper cup), I left without eating any of the sugary donuts or bagels, without cream cheese. It's NY, how could there not be cream cheese with the bagels? Otherwise, it was fine.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 4 of 213Great hotel
The location of this hotel is outstanding without being one of the priciest hotels in NYC. It is walking distance to Broadway, Central park and shopping The lobby was disappointing but the rooms were fine.

The hotel is older but is kept up very well. We found everything very comfortable and suitable for a weekend in New York. The front desk and concierge were very helpful.

The hotel is not for those who stay at the usual chain hotels -not expensively renovated. It does provide everything you require in large rooms that are spotless. The location is great.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 213Great room for the money
We go to New York several times a year and this hotel was by far the best deal for the money. The room was very clean. My only complaint was the mattresses were Ultra Firm which were a little too hard for our liking. However, we won't stay anywhere else if the rate stays around the same price. Great deal! Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 213Great location and value
Incredibly spacious room (two closets!) and two double beds with a kitchenette-- for the most reasonable price to be found in NYC. Amazing location and value. Service was excellent. We will stay there again.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 12 of 213great location
The location was great, in between two subway lines. I was able to walk to wherever I needed to go. Even though the hotel was somewhat old, there's nothing really to complain about. The only thing I could complain about was that the elevators were slow.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 213Great room and location and price
My sister and I stayed in a standard room for 5 nights in late October. It was LARGE,included a refrigerator/microwave and coffee pot.We were two blocks from Central Park and there were grocery stores;wine shops;restaurants within one block of us.It really was a very comfortable stay.Minor inconvenience was the ice machine on the third floor(we were on 12) as I said minor. We would certainly stay there again.

The rooms were large and the closet space was terrific. The beds were comfortable. There is quite a lot of street noise.
