Great Location.... Customer service could be better.

Myself and the wife decided to spend some time in Las Vegas while on holiday in USA. When staying at this hotel, you walk out right onto the centre of the strip, so the location couldn't be better. The hotel room was basic but clean, but had no coffee/tea making facilities. We were offered a smoking or non smoking room, and opted for a smoking room. But don't expect an ashtray. When we got to our room there was no ashtray, so we asked the cleaners supervisor if we could have an ashtray supplied to our room. The supervisor asked a cleaner why there was no ashtray in the smoking room we had been allocated, and the cleaner said that management had told them not to provide ashtrays. which begs the question, should they be offering smoking rooms at all. The supervisor asked for our room number and said that an ashtray would be brought to our room. We never did get an ashtray and ended up using a plastic cup of water instead. Bit of a dry old place, The girls bringing refreshments on the gambling floor seemed few and far between, and when we did see one and asked if we could have drinks, she said she would return in a minute, she never did return to us. We found better service at other hotels gambling floors. If location is your main priority and you can overlook the poor quality of service, then this is probably the hotel for you.

Great experience

I had a great experience at this hotel. I only stayed one night but for the price it was totaly worth the money. We had no problems checking in, they even let us check in at 11 am. The bed was real comfortable. The Hotel had a great atmospher and the people were real friendly. They took the time to teach ne and my boyfriend how to play craps. Overall I would recomend this hotel.

old school

wow, i was expected a much nicer hotel but of course it wasn't the greatest. I really found it interesting the elevators took thiry or more minutes just to open dont know what was going on that day but it look like a train station in the stt stair wells. it was much faster taking the stairs than the elevators. thank goodness i was on the eighth floor so it wasn't that bad but imagine with all the suitcases. it was a little difficult. would have much rathered stayhed somewhere else. in addition they didnt have a non-smoking room when i booked a non-smoking room.

Great room for the money

The only compalint that I have is the elevators but as long as you give yourself extra time when using elvators it is fine. The location is great and the staff was nice. The rooms were not top notch but nice. Would recommend to any looking for a good hotel right on the strip.

This Place is a dump!!! Stay Away!!!

Our experience at this hotel went from bad to horrible in the course of about two hours. First of all it took us almost one hour to check in, at 1:30 in the morning. Second, we had to walk 6 flights of stairs because we waited over 20 for the elevator and it never came. Then once in the room, the horror really began. The rugs were terribly stained and our sheets were stained with blood, yes blood. The restroom smelled like a public restroom, and the hotel staff put us next to a very very noisy ice maker and then claimed there were no more rooms available. We couldnt even sleep, the mattress was so bad, my wife and I laid down and both sank right to the middle of the mattress. The room was so nasty, we didn't even shower there the next morning. We checked out almost as soon as the sun arose. We would have been better off sleeping in our car. Honestly. The hotel we checked in to that next morning was a breath of fresh air, Ill give you a hint, it's on Tropicana west of the strip and it has a Mardi Gras type of theme.

4 nite stay

First off I booked a deluxe room. When I got home I went to there site and realized I was given a standard. The check in line was horrible took 45 min. The elevators are painfully slow. I just used it has a home base. I never gambled or ate there. The room was clean and pretty large. Overall if you want a clean cheap place to sleep in a good location this is it. Cons- Slow check in Slow elevators Casino reaks of smoke

great locaation

the hotel was in a great location next to the best hotels in the middle of the strip and next to great clubs. we didnt have to walk far for great food,clubs and good drinks. The

you get what you pay for, NO SERVICE

The location of the hotel was perfect. Literally right in the middle of the strip and if you didnt want to walk down to either end the tram was also in the hotel. The rooms were a little on the small side but fine, we dont usually stay in our room the whole time, and the beds really were comfy. Problem: we come back to our room one night to change and freshen up for our dinner reservations that night and our key isnt working. i go down tell the front desk and he gives me another key as he blames me for the key not working. New key still doesnt work. go back down stairs, he says he will send someone up. An hour and a half later we get into our room the battery was dead on our door. no apologizes for the inconvenience, no comps, no nothing! and they charged me an extra $5 a night for no reason! pretty upset with this place! WONT GO BACK

IS IT A FIRE OR IS IT A FALSE ALARM

The fire alarms went off most of the two night we stayed there. The first two times when i heard the alarm, I got dressed and waited for the announcement that came over the loud speaker through the hallways telling us an alarm was detected and we should stay in our rooms until it is checked out and until further directions are given. Thank god they were all false alarms but this was very distruptive as such, as i was trying to relax and got very stressed out until we found out it was not a fire. When i talked to some people the next day, they stated this happens all the time
