Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 243Convenient Location
The services I took advantage of were good. I don't know of it is the same all over the strip, but this hotel does not have coffee makers in the room. If coffee is important to you, you have to go downstairs to Betty's or the Burger Palace near the sports book.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 243Good Room for the money.
Location is great. Connection to almost anywhere with the trams. Only big down-side is the elevators are VERY slow. 6 years ago I stay here, and I would have hoped with all their $$, they would have fixed the elevators... don't bet on it.

Our stay was satisfactory. The only issue was the elevator service. Difficult to get a down elevator from the lower floors, long waits, crowded, took stairs

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 243Good Value on the Strip
I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Imperial Palace. It will never be confused with the Bellagio but my room was satisfactory. It does show some wear but it was clean and in a good spot on the strip.

The hotel is old as other posters noted, but the place was generally nice and worth the price we paid. It's not posh like all the newer mega resorts, but it was nice enough. And yes, the shower drains slowly. A low flow shower head or one with a shut off valve seems like a simple solution.
