Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 279Not up to par
Bed was very poor...one side was slanted downwards. Sink drain did not work aand had to be repaired. RIP OFF $6.00 fee added to already paid in full room rate. They have the oldest hotl left on the strip and it shows.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 279Fine for the price
For the price this was a fine place to stay. One up side is that the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept on in a low price hotel. One BIG down side, is do not whatever you do eat in the buffet. It was overall the absolutely worst food I have ever eaten in my life. On a scale of 1-10 it would not even rate a 1.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 279Outdated Hotel but good service
I was given a double upgrade to the 23rd floor which was a very nice gesture and my parents loved it. The location is what you pay for but its got a tram station right out so its the best deal you can find. The hotel and room however need to be upgraded. The bed, furniture and television all seemed old; especially for an 'upgraded' room.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 279You got what you pay
I have to pay an additional $6 charge per night when checking in (the receptionist said, it's a pool & jacuzzi fee)...The location is so far2 away from the main LV Strip...Room was descent...The hotel is kinda old (Built in the 50's)...But..it's the cheapest I can't get...

We just needed a place to stay for the evening. Our 'non-smoking' room which we paid extra for had a small smell of smoke - Overall, I would suggest that you take a chance on another hotel since there are so many in Vegas.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 279Convenient Location
The Sahara has a great location...located at end of monorail-the monorail is a great mode of transportation!! The room was what expected...clean enough, although the air conditioner fan was VERY NOISY and there was a dripping sound. But I wore ear plugs to sleep so didn't bother me much. The pool area wasn't that great..pool is very shallow and water was too warm for how hot it was outside. But all together I got a great room rate...considering it was for the weekend and was a last minute reservation....so the Sahara worked for me and my family.
