Rooms

Room was dirty and the a/c did not work and it took about 2 hours for the maintenance person to come to the room. Had to call several times. Room took another 2hours to cool. Will never stay in that hotel again

Sahara's downward slide

Seemsas if they are letting the Sahara go down hill. We have stayed before and had a much better experience. The biggest ripoff is the $6.00 a day resort change on a prepaid reservation.

Just my two cents worth

This hotel is an older hotel and does show it age, but for the price I paid I was well impressed. Basicly I went there for my brothers wedding (he stayed at another hotel further down the strip), For what I paid I was pleasantly suprised. I had no problems with the room or any of the amenities I used. My only complaint is this is at the tail end of the strip away from where a lot of the other things on the strip are.

Additional Charges

Hotel added an additional charge for third person in room even though it was a child and added a pool charge when we checked in.

Needs updating and remodeling

Everything was "old" and worn out in our hotel room. This hotel needs to be remodelled badly.

Because we were booking for 3 people to share a room an additional fee of $20 per night was tacked onto the price. It would have been cheaper to book a second room instead of sharing. There was an addition fee of $6 also per day. Plus, once we were there we paid for an upgrade. If the room was upgraded, I hate to see what the normal room was. Overall, the staff was not very friendly. We felt the place was seriously overpriced. The wireless Internet was also $24 for 3 days. I would not recommend the Sahara.

Needs improvement

Finally was put into a satisfactory room after a couple of tries. The maintenance in the first two was substandard.

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

OVERALL THE HOTEL NEEDS A GREAT DEAL OF WORK. THE FLOORING WAS FILTHY AND THE HOTEL HAD A TERRIBLE SMELL. THE FURNITURE IN MY ROOM WAS CHIPPED AND DATED. THE TELEVSION ONLY GETS 12 CHANNELS AND YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT. TO WATCH TELEVSION FOR 2 DAYS WAS $12.00. THE RECEPTION WAS HORRIBLE. THE GROUT IN THE BATHROOM WAS DIRTY ETC. I WIL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN EVEN THEY WAS GIVING THE ROOMS AWAY FOR FREE.

Great room for the money. The cross walk over to the monorail station is very convinient.

Its a good choice for the money for a Hotel at the strip
