Didn't meet up to our expectations....

Well.... I thought the room was quite small for the price we paid....the bed was AWESOME and so was th TV....I didnt care for the knobs in the shower..to hard to get right temperature..and we were not restocked fully with our daily bathroom washcloths or handtowels..which i did expect...there were no softdrink or snack machines anywhere in the hotel..just ice... and the pool was not heated as expected and was to cold to get in..and the hottub was not working.... so that left little to do with the little one during our stay there.... We did enjoy the lovely large lounge area around the pool and chose to spend time there rather in the small room.. the lamp beside our bed did not work.. but was promptly fixed when I mentioned it..and there was no little coffee maker in the room either... which I thought was strange for such an upscale room. It is a beautiful hotel and we stayed there when it was the Fairmont..and I dont remember having these issues...not sure we will choose this one when we return to N. O.

Plush

Bed was so comfortable - flat screen tv - many faucets in the shower close to Bourbon Street.

Fabulous Mother-Daughter 3-Night Stay at the Roosevelt!

The hotel was absolutely spectacular and we didn't want to leave New Orleans! I would recommend The Roosevelt in the future and have already recommended to someone planning a trip there within the next month! We'll be back! The employees were all so very kind, helpful, and professional! Thank you!

Wonderful Hotel!! Great deal!

beautiful hotel. Service was outstanding, especially the consierge. Always willing to be of help. It was just a block from the French quarter and the trolleys were close as well. It was a long walk down to the river though. Overall it was a great place, and the price was right!

still renovating but will be terrific

The grand, historic hotel had only been re-opened for a week when we stayed there, and they were still doing some construction and working on amenities. It's gorgeous, though, even though the immediate neighborhood is rough. But the French Quarter is just across Canal Street. Overall, we had a good stay, and I'm sure this will be a 5-star hotel in a few months.
