Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 13Comfortable Rooms, Good Value
My wife and I went on vacation to Vancouver for our one-year anniversary. Overall, we had a good experience. The room was excellent, and we were happy with our stay overall. There was construction going on at the hotel, but they did a great job keeping it out of sight and sound. The food options weren't great, though we did have a good experience at their high-end restaurant. If we are in Vancouver again, we would stay here again, for sure.

The hotel is under construction. No place to eat. Very far away from everything. Could not get the air conditioning to work. People were very unhelpful and not very friendly.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 13Great Hotel
Beautiful rooms and amenities, the only thing was that it was being renovated which made it somewhat inconvenient, but overall a great place to stay.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 13Far away from Vancouver
Non-smoking casino was wonderful. However, being far from downtown Vancouver was a bit problematic. There was a lot of construction going on around the hotel which caused some inconvenient. My wife and I stayed there for 3 nights but we could not switch the room for a better view and the receptionist was not helpful. But overall it was a good experience for us. If we stay there again we would ask for room with a view.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 13Outstanding
We stayed at River Rock for the night and saw a show at their theater. Everything was great from the comfy bed to the fantastic food at the restaurant. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. The only complaint was that the TV's were old. This wasn't a very big deal since we didn't spend much time watching TV.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 13Best Hotel / NonSmoking Casino is awesome
The staff was very friendly. We stayed in the executive suit. The elevators were a pain because we went on a show night but other than that everything was great. My husband and I played blackjack for the first time and the Dealer was so friendly and great to explain the rules to us. The pool as also beautiful. If you have kids they will love it. If you are staying in the hotel the valet parking is free. It is exactly 100 miles from Oak Harbor WA so it is closer to go there than it is to go to Seattle. The NON Smoking casino is WAY better than WA casinos. FANTANSIC HOTEL will definatley go again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 13Overall was Ok.
Overall the hotel was nice. We ended up paying to upgrade from a "city" view to a "marina" view. Due to the fact that we looked out and saw a roof for our view. Paying for the upgrade to a different room, was not worth it at all. All you see is the barges going and the airplanes landing at the airport. The room itself was nice and casino was very clean. It is very nice to go into a casino and not smell like cigarrette smoke when you leave. All though they did have some crazy gambling rules. I would recommed this hotel when all of the construction in and around the hotel is complete. The other thing that really upset my husband, was where there on a Saturday and they had NO football playing on any TV and they had no sports bar. We thought it was a little unusual that a casino did not have any football on, even in Canada. Not one football game all weekend long. Overall, good hotel stay...ask me about Vancouver and its a whole other story.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 13Great Hotel
The hotel itself was very nice and lots of amenities. The location is also ideal if you have a car. Its only a few miles from downtown and it's very easy to access Route 99. The only downfall would be the menu prices of the food in the restaurants. Of course though, there are plenty of food choices outside the hotel, so that problem was resolved. Also, although it is right next to the airport, the airplane noise isn't a problem (unless you're outside on the boardwalk, then it tends to be a bit loud!) Plenty of parking in the parking garage. Very friendly staff. Overall, a great hotel and worth the cost.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 13Clean & Comfortable
We thought that this was a great find, especially for the price. Hotel staff was helpful & courteous, rooms were clean & comfortable, bathrooms were great. Only minutes away from the airport. After a day of whale watching or white river rafting, our room was an inviting place to come back to relax.
