Great for the money, a little noisy.

Nice hotel, great location, clean. Small rooms. Ask for room away from the east alley, delivery trucks and employees make lots of noise early in the morning. Other than that, great stay!

Not satisified

from the room you could hear all the noise from fremont street. The music was so loud way into the early morning we were tired we had driven nine hours and just wanted to relax that evening but it was totally impossible with all the noise I think the front desk should at least let you know about the noise factor. I'm just glad I had only booked it for one night. We stayed in vegas for three more nights but at a different hotel.

The room was small (OK), the bed was alright and the shower was also OK. What was wrong ?? Hotel construction starting at 6:30am every morning right under my room and going on all day! This was not mentioned to me at check-in concerning the construction noise. Bottom line...Not the kind of "Wake up Call" I was expecting each morning !!

Consider this hotel

Loved the location. And what you get for your money is outstanding. Really enjoyed the atmosphere of being in an historic hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great vacation.

Run into everything

Put a double bed into a small ( childs ) room plus a large dresser ,a chair. It would like a mobles home small bedroom. The room was 10 feet by 9 feet EST.It was an old room taken care of very well. But it needed a single bed to give you room to move without runing into something. That is the only thing I can complain about. The service was great , clean room.

Need A Lot of Improvement

The second day that we were there the air conditioner went out in several of the rooms. The next day the water went out in one of the two rooms that I had reserved and the next day I got up went to the bathroom and the pipe in the bathroom had busted and the water was all over the floor. The room is a little to small for two full figured people, but the whole room concept was very up to date and the TV was the highlight of the whole trip cause it was a plasma TV. For the price you get what you pay for.

Needs Improvement

My stay was not what I dreamed it to be. The air conditioner went out and the room was small. Woke up one morning and the pipe under the sink had busted and water was all on the floor. For two full figured people to be in the room was very uncomfortable, no room to move around without bumping into each other.

Superb Hotel

Older hotel but rooms were nicely decorated and very clean, although tiny. The staff, especially Benson, really went out their way to be very helpful and accomodating. I specifically requested for a quiet room, farthest from the Fremont Street experience and after waiting, still didn't get it. Oh well...but otherwise, great hotel for the price.

"Great room for the money"

the room was a nice size for two people, great location. we enjoyed farmount street and won some money in the casino. we would stay here again.

Great Room

We loved the room decor, and had none of the issues that were given in other reviews. The room was small, but we didn't mind that as it was clean and comfortable and we knew it was small before booking the room. We'll definitely stay there again. Hotel staff were very courteous and helpful.

Worked well for us.

We had a room on the inside of the building, which made it quiet. The room was small but beautiful. We love the older feel of this property. The rate was hard to beat, especially for a Friday!
