Needs a little maintenance

Overall the hotel was ok. It wasn't as close to the french quarter as we would have liked however the trolley was close. One elevator was out the entire weekend, but it didn't effect us getting to the room. The room we stayed in looked so much bigger in the pics.

Outstanding Hotel

This was hands down one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. The rooms were clean, the hotel was in a decent neighborhood for New Orleans, and more importantly, the staff went above and beyond for their customers. I will always stay at this hotel from now on when I travel to New Orleans.

Great Location -

I've stayed at the Le Cirque twice and would definitely stay there again. I really like where this hotel is located. It's conveniently located along the street car line on St. Charles Avenue and this makes it easily accessible to all points of interest in downtown New Orleans. My room has been very quiet the two times that I've stayed there. I would much rather stay at the Le Cirque than in any of the French Quarter hotels.

Great location/price

While not in the French Quarter, this is a great location to catch the street car and is close to the French Quarter, St. Charles Street, the Superdome and the arts area. The rooms are decorated in a trendy style and the staff were freindly and helpful. If your looking for more amenities in a hotel this is not for you, but for a home base it works very well for a very reasonable price.

Okay for the $$$

Positives: Very quiet rooms even on the front side of the hotel. We were in room 206 near the elevator but never heard it. The beds are comfortable. The bedding was clean. The hotel is quiet. The maid service was very good and always cleaned our room well, and they were quiet and never bothered us. Negatives: It's a lot farther from downtown than expected. Self Parking was twenty two dollars a night! And there's no security anywhere around. Front desk service was uninformative, and no one could tell us where the ice machines are located. There is NO continental breakfast as advertised on this website. The shower water pressure was awful!! The walls were banged up and some areas are dingy... ie, a booger on the wall next to my bed that I made my husband remove. Only one elevator was working and it was sloowww. Tip: The hotel will not give you the map to where the self parking lot is until after you check-in, and they will require you to choose self parking or valet at check-in. But if you drive past the hotel self parking lot, you can pay only $12 a day for parking directly behind the hotel instead of behind the hotel and across the street a block away. However, the hotel will NOT inform you of this because that lot is owned by another company. So basically they rip you off on parking! If you drive past the hotel, and make the 2nd right, and then the first immediate right, that's the street that runs behind the hotel. Save yourself $10 a day in parking and park closer.

Great Hotel for Cheap

Great rooms for an even better price. about an 8 block walk to burbon/canal. Friendly staff who are always very helpful. Parking is expensive $25 a night, but there are city lots right around the back corner for $12 a day.

Clean and modern, interesting location, but lacking an identity.

1st time staying at Le Cirque...they had a pretty good room rate for Jazz Fest, and we were looking for someplace new and different. I could briefly describe it as a poor man's "W Hotel" and that wouldn't be far off the mark. The hotel is somewhat stylish and modern. Our room (front facing onto Lee Circle) was small to medium in size; it was clean, but it could have used better lighting in the bath and the main room, and the closet was tiny. The room just felt a little bit cramped. Lee Circle is an interesting location, since it lies at the intersection of the Garden and Warehouse District. The problem I found, however, is that you feel like you are part of neither neighborhood. The valet parking service could use some improvement, too - we had to wait 30 minutes for our car one morning, and there was no one else waiting. But the front desk and (especially) the bellhop/doorman were very good. Overall, I might stay there again, but I won't go out of my way to make a reservation there.

Hotel Le Cirque

You cant tell they spent money to try and make the hotel better but did a crappy job. Water pressure in the hotel was good which is hard to find in New Orleans. However was located in a bad part of town and is a hefty walk to bourbon and all of the other attractions.

Terrific Hotel

The staff was wonderful and made you feel as though you were the only guest they had. The bed was super-comfortable! Room was a little small, but well worth it.

Needs Improvement

Parking is off-site in an open lot about 1 and 1/2 blocks from hotel. Parking was an addl $20/nite where surrounding public parking lots (which this was) charge $10. While the offer Valet parking, the service was stopped during the parade season.

Nice Stay

Hotel was nice and staff was very professional. Only downfall was paying $22 dollars to self park my car a block away. Got kind of tiring.
