Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 40Needs improvement
Overall the hotel was okay. But there were a few problems. 1) Room service isn't 24 hours, it ends at around 9 pm. So if you get hungry after that time, you have to go out to get food. 2) The carpet was pretty dirty. It seemed like it had never been shampooed since it was installed. 3) There was absolutely no water pressure in the shower. A shower that normally takes me 5 minutes took over 15 minutes, because the water flow wasn't enough to get the shampoo and soap out. 4) An emergency alarm went off at 7 am. A recorded announcement was made that we need to proceed to the lobby, using the stairs. Once we got down there, the staff told us that the alarm was an accident. So we went back up. I dozed off and 30 minutes later the same thing happened. This time most people stayed in their rooms. After this, I went back to sleep. And 30 minutes later an announcement came over the speakers that "we apologize for the inconvenience, those alarms went off accidently". Now this wouldn't have been a problem during the middle of the day or evening. But after a long night on Bourbon St., nobody wants to be woken up so early. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful. If prices are comparable, I'd recommend staying elsewhere.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 40Deteriorating Physically and Service wise
I stay at this hotel every month. One elevator has been broken for a year, the cleanliness of the rooms is slipping. There was trash on the floor left from a previous occupant. Grout on floors cracking and getting dirty. The service in restaurant and bar is getting very lax. Its closed Sunday and Monday. I ordered a glass of wine from the menu and was served a jug wine instead. When I told the bartender that it was the wrong wine, he said they were out of the other. I just sent it back. The restaurant hours not posted and they seem to close whenever they want. New employees in bar not very friendly

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 40Right on Mardi Gras parade route
This obviously has implications that are good (seeing parades up close) and bad (pain to park the car, tons of street noise). I thought the valet were extremely slow in getting the cars. I had problems adjusting the thermostat in my room but it was remedied as soon as I mentioned it to the front desk. The rooms are small. Imagine New York City, with a tiny window overlooking a roof top AC unit. But the bed was comfortable. Only one of two elevators was working during my stay but I was on the 2nd floor and able to take the dingy stairs.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 40Really not impressed
The floors were sticky and the rooms were crampped and poorly furnished. Housekeeping has no politeness and will ignore "do not disturb" signs even at 8 in the morning. The will also come by at least 3 times when asked not to.

We stay here for pleasure or business and i luv that there is plenty of available parking on the street. Each Room is different and i luv the contemporary feel.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 40"Le Sucky" Le Cirque!
I wouldn't recommend this Hotel to anyone expecting good service, decent food, or a clean and functioning room. My stay was during Halloween weekend and the I arrived in the evening; when I checked in and tried to go to my room one of the elevators weren't working so it took quite awhile to go 3 floors?! The coffee maker didn't work, the t.v. remote didn't work, the bedside table lamp didn't work...notice a trend? The lamp chops were chewy and overpriced. This hotel seems to tout themselves on modern design and hip atmosphere; Save your sanity and money Go somewhere else!
