Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 14Best Value in Downtown
Remodeling was in proces , but presented little inconvience . This is the lowest priced hotel in Downtown and maybe all of Vegas yet the accomadations were comfortable and in the 2 to 2 1/2 star range . Freemont Street is a block or two so you can get the whole Downtown Experience without being stuck in one big mega casino and without risking traffic tickets renting cars , etc.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 14Worst Hotel
The hotel is located in an unsafe area. The bathroom sink had shaved hair in it. It was like someone empty their razor in the sink. the manager said they were book so I couldn't move to a different room. They had the maid clean the bathroom. You could feel the springs in the mattress. there were holes in the walls of the hallway with insulation sticking out. Wallpaper was pealing away from the walls. The curtains were coming off the hooks. This is the worst hotel I have ever been in. I cancelled the rest of my stay. And then they charged me $37.50 for cancelling.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 14Okay deal for the money
I was wary of staying here, but it wasn't bad at all. Room was decent, although a bit small. No remote for TV, like some others said. Biggest problem was finding parking on some nights--other nights wasn't a problem at all. 5 minute wait opened up parking spot. One black from Freemont St. was nice. Also close to bus station and city hall. No additional facilities fee, despite what the info page said. What I paid online was total price. They didn't even ask for credit card upon check-in. For the price, I would stay again.

the price was right, but, the hotel is a bit difficult to get to because of the construction. the parking lot is small, the room was dirty. like i said, you get what you pay for. i would recommend the hotel to those looking for a great price.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 14good and bad points. solely for economy minded persons
Convenient to downtown bus terminals, but just far enough away to avoid Freemont Experience noise. Good price. No TV remote w/o asking for it. TV only receives 3 channels, & very poor at that. Construction noise early in morning outside of window. Arrived very early in morning, before check-in, and hotel would not let me leave my bags in storage. That would have defeated main purpose of selecting hotel near bus station. Talked desk clerk into allowing me to leave bags until later check in. Very friendly guy. Had I not been allowed to so leave them, hotel would have been unsatisfactory. Couldn't beat the price. Other than that and location, was wanting for a Las Vegas hotel.

-Hotel is currently (April 2009) being renovated. -Do not rely on front desk for wake up calls, they are not at all reliable. -The TV's have no remotes (not available at all) and only 3 or 4 channels. -Parking is limited and without surveillance, so park your car in well lit areas.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 14A hotel for a desperate traveler with a low minded budget.
I stayed a weekend at this hotel which I now know I would not reccommend to anyone. My room was totally un- acceptable and in need of urgent re- pair. There was no remote for the tele No ice machines in hallway-you had to go downstairs to bar to get ice. The bathtub needed replacement-large amount of rust around drain. I happened to be in the elevator with the hotel manager, at which time, he totally ignored me. He was present at the time I checked in.
