Quiet

Hotel was quiet. 307 is a handicap room. Closet space was limited and odd. 3rd floor access to parking garage was nice. Shower was like being drizzled on. Catholic Cathedral is beautiful and close.

Great Neighborhood, Nice Rooms

The best thing about this place is the neighborhood. The Central West End is a nice area of St. Louis, with plenty of shops and restaurants a few blocks away from the hotel. The New Cathedral is also a short walk away, and is definitely worth the trip. Access to downtown is easy too, as the 64 on-ramp is just down the street. The rooms were clean and well appointed with a TV, refrigerator, microwave and VCR. Our only complaints were a small problem with our sink and lack of access to wireless. The first they offered to fix, but we declined--we could live with it for a night. The second turned out not to be a big deal either--we were on the second floor and could (just barely) get the lobby wireless network. Wired internet is available in the rooms even if that is not the case.

Worth it

My husband and I stayed here and went to the zoo the next day. Forest Park was literally minutes away, the neighborhood was nice and safe, and they had a banana waiting for me in the lobby in the morning! And it was nice to stay somewhere other than downtown.

Nice stay, but parking structure needs some work

We have stayed at the Parkway several times and have been very happy with cleanliness, quiet rooms, and convenient access to music venues and the MO Botanic Garden. Our visit this time was slightly different--they seem to be working on their parking garage, and parking is fine, but getting into the actual hotel is a bit confusing. I think once they finish their construction project it will be fine. Parking fee was very reasonable, though.
