Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 46Lobby stinks
The minute you enter you get an overwhelming smell of cigarettes to the point it is almost nausiating. Perhaps Trump could afford some air freshners for the lobby area? Other than that, it was a pleasant stay but be ready to fork out alot of money...nothing there is inexpensive!

2 of the 4 Rooms we rented were infested with roaches!! Rm 3721 & 3723 the roaches were all over the place around the bed area and in the bath room. It was disgusting!!

If we were writing a review SOLELY based on the hotel and casino itself, I would rate it A+ for the money spent. Now, hotels.com on the other hand, screwed everything up and made our stay horriffic. Buyer beware.

I was not overly impressed with the Taj. I was even less impressed with Atlantic City. Kind of Dumpy and run down. The price was right. I think I might spend more money and stay at Ceasers next time. Nicer and more central.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 46Great Stay
Had a great stay at the Trump Taj. The money I saved by booking through Hotels.com was lost in the Poker room, but it was fun none the less.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 46Good Value
Spent 2 nights at Taj Mahal in mid May. Great location to other hotels and activities. Easy to drive to. Rooms clean, good food and courteous staff. The value is there.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was curteous and helpful. The only difficulty was at check out, when they tried to charge me for in-room movies I never ordered. It took a few trips to the manager to straighten it all out, but they did so.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 46Very nice across the board
Booked at the Taj for a night for a next day meeting and brought the wife and kids along. Arrived two hours before check-in and they upgraded us, just because they're nice, to a better room in the neighboring Chairman Tower, which was extremely nice. Place was spotless. Food court area is convinient and all prices were better than reasonable. The burger at Burger was quick and real nice. Kids went to swim, but the pool was closed - swimy diapers, please, people! - but the gent at the pool set them up at another Trump hotel pool.
