Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 27Fun place to stay but watch for hidden costs
The hotel was neat, but we were charged an additional $25 per night that we did not find out about until arrival at the hotel. At this point, it was too late to change the arrangement, and because of this we will not be returning to an otherwise lovely place.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 2 of 27Awesome Room
Although it was awkward taking a shower in the middle of the room, it was so unique and a lot of fun. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will be going back.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 27Jesse James Escape Room
This is a very nice well maintained hotel with great morning breakfast room service and I would recommend it with one caveat: Our Hotels.com reservation assigned us the "Jesse James Escape Room" and while the large train robbery wall mural and Bunkhouse entrance to the bedroom were very nice, the room itself was quite small and narrow with no sofa or lounge chairs to sit and watch TV, only one small bathroom sink with very limited counter space for hair dryers and makeup, and our suitcases and gear had to stay spread out on the floor. If you only have a gym bag for an overnight stay, you should be fine but for any type of extended stay it was somewhat cramped for us.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 27Loved Everything About It
We recently stayed at the Chateau Avalon while attending a race at the Kansas Speedway. Our room was the Havana Room. It was a lovely decorated room. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast that was delivered to our room - exactly at the requested time. Everyone was extremely helpful. We were able to do a quick tour of many of the other rooms before we left. Amazing rooms - would love to stay in all of them! Many were in our price range! We do plan to return again!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 9 of 27a wonderful escape
The mansion in on a hill located near many sotres, places to eat and drink. There is even a Dave and Busters nearby. When we walked in we were pleasently surprised by the non hotel experience. Staff were welcoming, helpful and they maintained a sense of a sureen atmosphere to set the stage. The room was a total pleasure of being nowhere but together. Total relaxation, comfort and privacy. There is opportunity to tour all the rooms. We stayed two nights and chose the Lincoln and the Havana room which were perfect for what we wanted. A great find for date night, for a weekend or weekday when you just want alone time.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 27Wonderful!!
Our trip was wonderful. We travel alot and usually we can't wait to leave our room but here we didn't want to leave. Breakfast was amazing and so was the service. Early check in would have been nice but this place was worth the wait. I hope we get to stay here again.!!!!!!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 12 of 27Romance to the extreme
This hotel is beautiful and romantic. My wife and I went there to get away from the stresses of life. A day or two is all you need in a place like this, though you will want to stay forever. The themed rooms were great! The breakfast was unheard of. The staff and atmosphere make you feel like royalty. The only problem, which is minor, was that when purchasing a "Romance package" they charge you for individual products instead of giving you the package price. When you consider all you get for what you pay through Hotels.com, it is still worth it!
